gramma, I love what you did with the sketch. The small individual photos really show some of the many hours that went into making that Dream Car. I love the stripes and polka dots. They inspired me. Beautiful job with such gorgeous titles. I left love in the gallery.

I used just the right side of the sketch and turned it on its side. I was inspired by the polka dots. No twist. Cousin Camp Now & Then

Here’s mine. I don’t think it’s possible for me to get the twist points for this one—but that’s totally ok! Great sketch and great interpretation gramma2020 Sketchtember #10

Did both twists! And it was a labour of love - finding the right places to cluster, and finding the right items with which to cluster!!! I chose this older "go now go" line by Shimelle, which I always adored, but I didn't buy much of the ephemera to go with it and these colours are a little trickier. But I'm really happy with it! strathcona park by kirstendrew, on Flickr

gramma I really enjoyed this sketch challenge! I never think to use large scale banner/flags, so this was fun to play with. I like that you went with a large grid bordered in red & white polka dots - very striking!! nylene It's been really fun seeing all the Cousin Camp layouts. What wonderful memories you are creating with them! They are "pretty in pink"! ComplicatedLady Ooh, I really like this one! Love the colors you've chosen and the translation to TN really works! Did you hand cut your title or was it created from a machine? Really cool font either way! kitbop Really love the punch of red here and the usage of Shimelle's Go Now Go. I find this collection really hard to use, so I really appreciate seeing a GREAT layout using it! scrappyrabbit Love your interpretation of the sketch! The placement of the banners is really cute under the photo. Nice twist!! Okay! So rather than print a large sized photo, I challenged myself to use one of the three 5x7s that I already have printed. The photo I chose has a coordinating layout already done, so making this layout will complete a double page spread. Because of this, I only used the left side of the sketch provided. The nice thing about this scrapping this photo now, was the color palette was already established. The heart paper is also used on the coordinating layout. I am collecting Twist #2 for this challenge.

I didn't have enough small pic to create a collage, but I'm happy with getting these pics done! IMG_E2606 by disneydarling, on Flickr

Ryann I used some of my old school sizzix sizzlets to cut the letters out! There’s a benefit to having a stash sometimes...

So many wonderful takes on this challenge! And all so different! Looks like you really sparked some creativity, gramma. Linda, that red mat really pops the photo of the elegant b&w banners. Great translation to a smaller sized page. jeremysgirl, I love the soft botanical colours and images on your banners. Perfect for your outdoor photos. Looks like that wine tour was fun, Ryann. Love that you could use coordinating photos from the already created facing page to meet this challenge! And I love those papers. What collection is that? I think I have left love on Flickr for the other takes on this challenge. I hope to have mine ready to post tomorrow.

Not sure if this is more of a lift of yours, gramma , than a take on the sketch? I turned the 5x7 photo (twist) orientation and so the banners go across rather than down. Garden Harvest by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Used some of my oldest papers and supplies (Creative Memories punch; BG and HOTP papers and stickers) with a new Treasured Memories exclusive paper line I picked up on Tuesday. I struggle with keeping everything lined up square, and was pretty proud of how all the small photos and the layered squares lined up here, but then couldn't get a nice square photo of the LO to save my soul ... Trust me... that second page is lined up as straight as I can get it...
POINTS: two pages created & shared (4). #1 sketch (2) + both twists (10), #2 seven photos for Donna challenge (7), #8 harvest after the work (1), #15 August/Sept photos (4), #17 Nuvos (2), #31 & 32 (4), #36 very old & very new (2), #38 5x7 (1), #39 small pic's (1), #42 I always smile when I see other people working (2), #45 lots of pp on both pages (10), #55 love + heart (3). TOTAL: 53

The heart paper is from Pinkfresh Studio, Felicity collection. The tone-on-tone woodgrain is October Afternoon, but unsure of the collection. The white with red pin stripes was from a Gossamer Blue TN kit, I think. The red gingham is from an Imaginisce collection, Family Fun. The triangle background paper I think is also Pinkfresh Studio, but I am unsure of the collection.
