Over a month ago my mom had a biopsy of her salivary gland come back as metastasized cancer. She had a PET scan, ultrasound and CT scan and it showed no cancer. Her gland was removed a few weeks ago and the pathology report came back that it was NOT cancer.
So happy, relieved and thankful. I don't know if her 82 year old body could handle treatments.
Very strange that this happened to me also. I was told I had lymphoma after a colonoscopy and 6 weeks later, after many tests, told that I did not have it.

Miracles happen. They happen everywhere, everyday and for no apparent reason. I am very happy to hear your mother is well and is cancer free (that's a BIG ) and may she live another 100 years healthily and happily!

It depends on how good the sample of tissue is and how good the lab is too. I have a couple of stories about those issues. Glad it all worked out.
