Does anyone have a date stamp that they like?
Mine went MIA a few months ago and has not been seen since, and I have no idea where it came from when I got it, maybe it was a 7 gypsies purchase....

I'm glad you asked. I was about to say I like my Heidi Swapp date stamp, but realized the last year on it is 2021.

You can still get the most basic of date stamps at the office supply store. I like the look for my style. Functional, but not fancy.

The Heidi Swapp one is my favorite, too. I hope they update it with later dates

I also use one from our local office store, although I'll be honest and say it is not my favourite, it's just a tiny bit larger than I'd like (the old version I bought years ago was my perfect date stamp). I also love the mix of fonts in the Heidi one but hate that I have to stamp it in two parts to get the date/month/year format without the large gap at the start of the shorter named months.

I got a bunch from October Afternoon, they had date stamps from the 80's until mid 20's. They're nothing fancy but I liked that they went all the way back to the 80's since I'm currently sorting through photos/negatives/slides from back then in the hopes that I'll actually scrapbook them.

I bought this clear stamp set from Paper Trey inc. It's just the years, but I have another set of month stamps that work well with them. Anyway, this one goes from 1974-2020.

Check Etsy for date stamps. I bout one for $3 that is no brand. I think it starts at 2020 and goes up from there.

I had my DH pull apart one of mine so I could reorder it. I wanted the option to just stamp month/yr and not ink the date.

While I cringe to recommend something from her... My favorite is from Becky Higgins. It's an 8-digit rotary, so you can use indefinitely. I also recently got a Mega Date Stamp from Studio Calico that is really cool ( handlettered (2016 - 2027) & classic (Years 2015 - 2026). But they are huge! The date stamped is like 3 inches long.

I've done that with all of mine but because her months were written as words some of the shorter ones have ridiculously large spaces between the day and month-year. It's my only grievance, but I use all my date stamps much more frequently since I pulled them apart and swapped the day and month around.

Mine went MIA a few months ago and has not been seen since, and I have no idea where it came from when I got it, maybe it was a 7 gypsies purchase.... I cherish my 1 Canoe 2 rotary stamps, here's their release which seems to be discontinued in a few shops, I searched everywhere for both of their rotary stamps and could only find the latest in their shop. So, I just bought one for my friend because it's just the best: 1canoe2.com/products/saturday-afternoon-rotary-date-stamp

I like the 1 Canoe 2 because it’s so small.
