I'm curious to know who your dog is most attached to in your household.
In our house, the list in order of preference, is: 1. DSO 2. Me 3. DS 4. DD
I can see DS moving up the Doggy Love Ladder as he gets older and bigger, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him overtake me at some point.
DSO is most definitely our dog's favourite person. It bugs me in a way, because I am the one who takes him on most of his walks, and feeds him every morning. DD has started taking him on a lot more walks recently, and yet she is still languishing down the bottom of the Love Ladder, much to her dismay. DSO never takes him for walks.
DD would love our dog to sleep in her room with her. But he always sleeps in our room, curled up beside DSO. If DSO and I are away, our dog will not sleep in DD's room, so she has to sleep in our bed if she wants to sleep with him.
Most other people I know (with the exception of one friend) have said that their dogs prefer the "Alpha Man" over everyone else. I'd love to know if this is the same with the Peas.

Me for both dogs and I don’t even feed them. They must know that I am the one who keeps the food and treats stocked though.

Older dog has never been loyal to one or the other of us. Though he does stop his random dementia-caused barking when he hears DH.
Younger dog will meet me at the door when I come home from work. He looks at me and then runs back to DH. When DH drives up, dog will whine, run around and bark until DH is in the house. So I guess DH is the favored!

For our dog, Bailey, I am the alpha. I am head of house, to Bailey. She loves me, and she listens to me. However, DH is her favorite!! She practically has a stroke when he comes home from work. But she still listens better to me. And then, each of my three kids equally. Its like Bailey is on their level, how she sees herself in the hierarchy.

1 me 2 ds gf
Both ds and dh come in 3rd
The dog will put her body between me and the kids if she thinks they are too close. If there isn't enough room, she climbs over him and lays on me.

Remi plays the damn system. For the most part I’d say he favors dh unless ds19 is here. They both play rough with him and are far more likely to give him people food. If it’s regular feeding time he's my bff he’s also more likely to follow me around. For the most part he will only go outside for me, he’ll stand at the door but if dh gets up to let him out he’ll turn away from the door. If I get up he’ll go right out 🙄. He also brings me tissue presents from the trash can, I think he thinks I want them (I really really don’t 🤦🏻♀️), he doesn’t do that for anyone else.

The dog loves me the most and has become extra protective since I became pregnant. I think he sniffed it on me before I even knew. He sleeps in his crate usually but I’ll admit I let him come sleep in the bed with me when my husband isn’t home.
The cat loves my husband more but she will begrudgingly nuzzle at my legs if I happen to be in the kitchen around dinner time.

All four dogs I’ve owned as an adult have been my dogs. I’m the main caregiver in this home and they understand that.
I would say our current dog loves DS1 the next most then DS2 and DH.
I think our first dog, 23 years ago (died at almost 18) was probably the most neutral dog. She loved me the most but she was really lovely with the boys when they were young and definitely was into my DH too. Of course, that was the one dog my dh really was into getting and truly wanted. The others have been “your dog” when it suits him. He likes dogs but would be ok without one. The boys and I need a dog.
All other dogs love(d) all of us, but it’s very obvious I’m their person/mommy.
My childhood dog was my mom’s dog too. I was second on the list. She was the main caregiver. I was the one who wanted her, but my mom took the mommy role right away (I was 11).

Oh great question!
Starsky - he has no preference. Any warm body will do. He loves everyone and just has to be by people.
Canon - he definitely my dog. Probably because I was the one around all day every day from when we first got him at 10 weeks. When he scared, he sits on my lap. He follows me wherever I go. If I'm not here, then he's dh's dog. The kids he likes either of my dd's next and ds last.

love order: 1) whoever currently has food 2) any stranger or new person 3) dh (who spoils the dog with treats and feeds him from the table) 4) ds, dd, and me (no preference-just wants attention)

I'm #1.
I would seriously be crushed if I wasn't. I just love our dog so much and cuddle, love and give goodies (within reason).
Our cats like me the most also but not as cuddly.

Me Ex DD or DS
But he is my dog. When given a choice he will seek me out, if I’m not around he will cling to ex.
Though since DD moved in my house he & her are getting close again ( she’s been in & out for school for 5 years ) but he’s definitely mine.

Me. Every dog I've ever had. Me. Even the two I married into then chose me.
Ours now. Me then DD or DS. It was Me, DD, DS then XDH. Now with ex gone I don't think dog even cares when he sees him.
DD is older than DS and dog was closer to DD until they moved out. Now dog sees DS more and they've created a new bond not leaving DD is the dust but definately equal or better.
The kids tease me that any dog becomes my BFF. Like they'll meet other dogs and after asking if okay to pet, they say the dog will walk around them to get to me. I think it's just because they know/feel I love dogs and the "mom" card puts it over the top.

The poodle is my dog and she loves me most, followed by DH, then DD and dead last the other dog. The odd thing with her is that when we’re all home, if she has to go out she will jump up on his chair and paw at his chest. He just looks at her like, “I’m not gonna let you out. Why are you telling me? Your mom is over there!” The lab absolutely loves DH most, but I’m a fairly close second because I’m the one who feeds him most of the time and I’m home with him all day. He will hang around DD if she has food and completely ignores the other dog unless she has a treat he wants to steal. The ironic thing about his dog is that the dog always cuddles up next to me to sleep, and lays at the foot of my chair when we’re all downstairs before bed.

DH asked our dog that last week and he walked right over to me and put his head in my lap. 😂
In reality, he’s pretty evenly divided between DH and me, and then the kids. He almost always sits at the top of the stairs where he can keep an eye on everybody in the house at the same time.
Unfortunately, he’s very protective of me, which we’ve spent a lot of time working on. But I don’t have anything to work about when we take walks at night.

Our dog loves everyone with enthusiasm, but it ranks as thus: 1 DH 2 me 3 DS2 4 DS1 5 DS3
DS1 fell down the ladder when he moved out for college, but when he was home she stuck to him like glue. He recently moved back while he looks for a job, we'll see if anything changes in the ranking.

For my dog: 1. Me 2. Me 3. Me 4. DH 5. DD2 6. my other 3 kids
He waits by the door and whines whenever I leave. It's going to be a sad day for him when Covid is over and we're all back to our busy schedules. He's loving having all of us home.
