Ours are the same. But then again I wasn't impressed by Target in the States either. It's just another store, one that's overpriced. Rarely do I find things I like there. I found summer lights there but that's really all I've bought. Their clothes and shoes are gross and everything household is overpriced. I'll take my money elsewhere. It seems most people have this same thought. I don't think Target stores are overpriced in the United States, maybe in Canada. Where do you shop in Canada that's a big box store that's cheaper? I guess I've never understood the love for Target. I hate shopping though. As long as the store has what I need, I get in and get out. Big box stores have zero appeal to me. I don't live near any of them. The closest Wal-Mart is over 20 miles away and Target is over 40 miles. Maybe I'd feel different if I frequented them on a regular basis. I know of 2 K-Marts that closed down several years ago and they are still sitting empty. Examples of overpriced stuff include the pharmacy and beauty (generally I find the same things at Rexall or Shoppers for cheaper), the canning products (jars, etc) are generally better priced at Canadian Tire. I know I bought a bath mat there once only because it was on sale... the regular price was too high for what you were getting. I don't really shop big box stores, so I can't really compare in that sense. It's just overpriced compared to other stores that I shop at. I will admit that their seasonal stuff can be fun, but only when it's on sale. Even there, their prices are way too high for what you get.

Their casual clothing bought on sale tends to be our go-to everyday wear. FAR better than anything Walmart carries.

Unfortunately, it's either only in the tiny sizes or it's so incredibly ugly or girly that it's unwearable. And don't get me started on how Target's shoe collection is unwearable unless you want to break your ankles.

Maybe I live in la-la land, but I have never heard of a Target closing. Wow. I have to travel to get to one and would love to have one in my town. Ditto! I'm so surprised to read one is closing!

I have seven pairs of target shoes and have never once felt like I was going to break an ankle. I love Target. First place I shop on Black Friday and I'm a red card member as well. It's a few cents higher than stores like Walmart but definitely not overpriced in my book. I'd cry if one closed near me, and i have many to choose from.
