I may be new to this trend but what do you do with wood veneers? I've seen some pretty freaking cute ones but I am lost as to what to do with them? Do you color them or leave them blank? Are they easy to adhere or do you need something like wood glue? If you have links to your projects you have used wood veneers on feel free to post them as well so I can get some ideas! Here's one I used a couple on. I cut the top one to make it fit the space. I also have one that is just an arrow. I left the whole square in its normal state, then colored in the arrow with a Sharpie.

I usually leave them plain because I like the wood grain look. I have misted them before and that can be really pretty too. You have to be careful with ink and mists though because you aren't using it on a white surface so the color on the wood veneer may not be what you expect. I use my ATG, glue dots or pop dots to stick them down.

I saw some cute ones I would use as is on the Two Peas Etsy shop. I hope I can find them at CKC or an LSS.

I love your page KikiPea! I also love wood veneers. I use them plain most of the time but I have also misted them and have colored them with the clear wink of stella markers....gives just a little shine to them.

My favorite thing to do with wood veneers is to put some Stickles on them for sparkly color. I use glossy accents sometimes but I love using the Claudine Hellmuth Matte glue because when I mess up it doesn't dry shiny.

I don't know why it's never occurred to me to use Stickles. I have dozens and dozens of bottles. Great idea!
