Do I need to stock up on these or do you think other manufactures will start making them? I know SB.com is doing 9x12 and so does SC/AE but referring to 12 x 12...

SB.com already offer 12x12 albums and page protectors in many configurations. No need to stock up. Price point at SB.com is excellent, too.

You can easily find lots of configurations at Scrapbook.com and Amazon. I did stock up on the specific BH style protectors that I really liked before they all sold out.

Echo Park also makes some and they've had a few online sales (not just the blind boxes...one actually ran the week after their first warehouse box this year) and their PP have been included in those sales. They're great quality and usually about $3 for a 10 pack. Over $50 in their online shop and shipping is free.

I stocked up a bit on some of the more unique configurations but I've been really pleased with the Scrapbook.com ones for the more standard designs!

SB.com pp are good quality. Not cloudy and I haven't had one rip, yet!

If you are close to a Tuesday Morning, they usually have pocket pages for sale. I've seen Project Life, WRMK, and other brands.

Close to My Heart and Creative Memories also have pocket pages, though the CM pages are for strap hinge albums, not 3-hole binders.

I've been using Becky Higgins, but they are starting to drive me crazy...in the 12x12 type A design, the end 3x4 pockets are always a little narrower than the middle ones, and I have to trim my 3x4 photos...which means they go in those pockets after they are trimmed. But, they don't rip or get cloudy...that's definitely a plus.

They're sturdy but not the crystal clearest. They're definitely ample in size (larger pocket sections than the 6x8 BH). Hopefully someone else can chime in and let you know.

I’ve been disappointed by most other brands I’ve tried in 12x12. I have a huge stash of BH PL, and the inconsistency in pocket size is annoying. Also, some pp are flimsier overall than others. I like Simple Stories for smaller sizes. They are much thicker than the SC ones. I’m so annoyed by the crappy SC page protectors in the 6x8 size, I have not tried any of their bigger sized because I imagine they are similar quality.

Same for me, I stopped using the BH ones because of the pockets and also because they tore easily when I tried to get stuff into the pocket. I bought a ton of WeR Memory Keepers pocket pages at a scrapbook expo years ago when they were on major sale so I'm set for another year or five at the rate I'm not scrapbooking. I use the WRMK ones. The Becky Higgins ones starting looking cloudy in boxes I was getting, so I stopped buying them. WRMK ones are nice and clear and sturdy.
