Awesome two page sketch, gramma . And I have just the photos to use with it--of me being driven in a golf cart around our yard by wild little boys!--but my pages will not have soft pretty colours like yours  ...
Just working on your last week's sketch now, but this will be the next one.

gramma and grammadee , there is love in the gallery! Such cute pages. I used strips but turned them down to make a parquet-look table to hold the computer. My scanner didn't show the light colors at all so I tried using a photo. Not much better. I love the pages though. BTW, I am in the first photo. If you look closely in the top left corner of the computer I am there with DH. They just put the icon on part of my face. gramma Really fun sketch challenge! I like that you've included an easier style, and something more challenging to create. I love how the rays from the left side stretch into horizontal stripes on the right - very cool! grammadee I love your loud layouts! Your photos and story are super fun!!  nylene Love your layouts! The computer scene you've created is SO cute! I enjoyed reading your journaling; and potted plans look like they are growing off the page! Really cute! I really enjoyed this sketch! I was originally working on challenge #19 to go with these photos, but I didn't like the way it was turning out, so started over with this sketch. I enjoyed this one a lot! This will be the cover page for a vacation album. I forgot all about the twist for this one, so no twist points for me. I'm grabbing the 20 bonus points for Challenge #25 (Talk Like a Pirate Day)!

Ryann, I love your Nautical page and love what you did with the rays. I love the cluster with the glasses. Such a pretty page. Those papers are perfect for your photos. Linda, I think you did a great job with your Lego strips. You even managed to make a 2 pager and both are so cute with all the Legos as backgrounds. Alex would love to go to Legoland. He's a Legos nut! Bright and pretty pages.

Sorry gramma... This is the first time I didn't get the twist done, but when I saw the bent "rays" on the first page of this sketch I immediately thought of this picture with the driftwood teepees on the beach! I turned the page so that the "teepee" is in the proper orientation. My original plan was to do different pps on a white cardstock background, like the sketch. I cut out my template in white cardstock, and realized I really liked the look of the white over the bright paper!
