Feel free to elaborate in the comments! I'm so curious about how people scrapbook!

I have many that I've started and completed, but way more that are started, or in the idea stages (supplies purchased) and not yet finished

I am actively working on my family scrapbook, working mostly with pics from summer and fall this year. But I always have projects in the wings. I have a 6x8 book about me started, but have not touched it in awhile. I make cards when needed all year, and will soon be amping up Christmas card production.

ummm...too many...
I have two trip albums on my desk (they are actually in the same working binder right now) - Legoland 2011 and DS's Hawaii 2020. That's what I'm currently focusing on but I have the 2019 and 2020 family albums nearby along with DS's 2020 album and if there's a sketch I want to do that's just not working with the trip album, I'll go ahead and do a layout in one of those.
I have quite a few projects in the wings that have been started and put aside for now - Disney 2009, legoland 2017, DS's 2019 album, Singapore/Malayasia, quite a few family albums (2008-9, 2012-15...)....plus several others where I've printed photos but that's it - Road Trip 2017,Gulfport 2019, DD's Europe Trip...

I usually have several going on at a time, but recently, I’ve been working on one Travel Notebook kit at a time and trying to plow through it. I answered one, but my answer would really depend on the day/week/month/etc.

Way too many... Me and my friend are always joking when we have an idea about starting a new project! We are like really, you haven't even finished xy or z!! And then we are like who are we kidding, we are never gonna have finished scrapbooks!!
Current scrapbooks that need work: All 3 of my kids baby-curent years albums Halloween album Christmas album 3 Sedona trips from various years Various Disney trips San Diego trip(this 1 is a 4x4 and just needs the journaling done and is >< close to being done!) Mine and DH"s album Holidays album Family albums which are labeled All about us, Places we go, People we love and Things we do. Pandemic album that I'm just barely up to March
I'm probably missing a few and I'm also in the planning stages of an October daily....
But, I don't care if they are ever done! I work on whatever I'm in the mood for and I'm not a chronological scrapper. I do what makes me happy!

I voted 1. I'm a chronological scrapper. I work on my 12x12 layouts until I come to a vacation or themed album and then I work on that until I'm done. Then back to my regular scrapping.

I'm creative challenged, so work on one layout at a time. No holiday daily, week-in-the-life, mini books, art journaling, junk journals, cardmaking, or other special projects/papercrafting for me.

I chose....one.
I scrapbook in chronological order. I usually just have one set of photos that I am working on. That one set of photos may be 1 or 2 photos up to 100+ photos and every number in-between. The amount of photos depends on the photo op, gathering, event, and those in attendance, etc... Meaning lunch with Niece might be 2 photos taken, High School Reunion 200 photos taken. I go with the philosophy of.... it's better to take more photos than less, then delete the unwanted, unusable, etc... especially group photos >> someone's got eyes closed, looking the other way, acting foolish, peace sign fingers up....none of which I want in my photos.
I very rarely work on more than one set of photos at a time.

I have many projects in the works. I’ll work on one for a while, then switch to another, then do some LOs, then back to another. PL, Disney, Christmas journal, WITL, DITL, general LOs, trips, etc. I like to jump around as the mood strikes me!

I have my current scrapbooks to work on, plus I am working on my childhood photos to add to the scrapbook of all my memorabilia. I am doing the same for DH.
I'd like to start a family heritage book this winter.
I told DH it will be easier for our kids to dump the 3-ring binder scrapbooks in a dumpster when we are gone, than to have to go through bins of memorabilia!

I voted one but I'm NOT a chronological scrapper - I just pull photos from past/present that have a story I feel like telling. And the stack of layouts grows until it's "too tall" and I put them away - in chronological order - in my scrapbooks. I don't see one year or event as being "different projects". Our lives are my project Oh wait - I'm gonna change my vote to 2. I always have a DD on the go as well, because I'm a couple of years behind! Currently, 2017.

My memory planner & my PL are always ongoing
So I sometimes have something else going on a travel album or a card.

I voted 3, but it’s not an even thing. The majority of my scrap time is PL, if not the current one, then filling in an older year. I do have a few side scrapbooks, 6x8 albums for each kid, trip albums, but those I do in short spurts just once in awhile.
I’d like to devote more time to non-PL projects, but I haven’t managed to do that without falling behind on the current PL.

I answered one because I tend to primarily scrap only during my retreats (but did sneak in a couple layouts at home since March). I don't work on a project at a time, but rather scrap whichever pictures I feel like at the time & then put them in their appropriate album when they're done. I have a few album categories, but wouldn't consider them projects, they just get added to as I finish the layouts.
I also make cards, but those are just as needed, so they're typically done start-to-finish in one setting. Christmas cards are the only real card project that I have, but I don't do anywhere near as many as I used to. I'm lucky if I need a dozen this year. Back when I started making cards, I used to make about 45-60 Christmas cards a year.

2x nephew's 1st year books 1x niece's 1st year book Australia, 4x river cruises, Peru, Dubai (not much to do on this one, probably just the ghost town and an overall page of the week), 5x cruises, multiple ghost town photo tours (Montana, Southern Alberta, Southern Saskatchewan) Multiple canvases - positive mantras and she girls - always on the go
I should start scrapbooking again!

I chose one, but I don't scrap chronological. I also don't leave unfinished projects for any length of time. The longest would be overnight. If I don't think I have time to sit and finish something to completion, I won't start it. I'm a bit methodical in my scrapbooking process. Being interrupted doesn't suite me well.

I chose 3 at this time, I work on 12x12 layouts, my "stop the blur" weekly planner book for daily stuff, and occasionally digital layouts for ancestry.
I don't scrapbook chronologically, but I store my layouts/albums that way. I scrap what I feel like. I generally put everyday type stuff in my planner book which I keep up with weekly or sometimes skip a week here and there. Then for 12x12s I have kits prepped and keep track in a word document of photos and journaling for upcoming layouts.
If I do some type of mini for a vaca or holiday, or week in the life, I work on that until it's done. I don't like unfinished projects sitting around, so I tend to not start it unless I am going to finish.

Ummm...I picked 4+. I have our family albums, Disney/Universal albums, Journal Your Christmas album, plus more that a couple memory books in different stages of creation. I need to wrap up JYC so I can get to work on this year’s plan for it.

Um...define "working" on. Haha! I probably have too many set aside to count. This is what I'm thinking too. I have too many projects in some state of "unfinished," and I do go back to them periodically, but I'm not always "working" on them.

I chose 4+ because I have several projects I have started and not finished but technically I only work on one at a time.

I have several projects with just photos printed and journaling typed. As for actual pages started and not finished, I have four projects.

I work chronologically. I have a family PL style album that I work on as I'm completing the album for each of my kids. I work on the same event/pictures for each album, if it's an event or pictures that are for each child.

There's ongoing family, Halloween, Christmas, and other Holidays albums. Kid #3's album is one that I am going to end at age five. Then there's the mini albums. I think it's around four?

I chose 4+ as I tend to scrap whatever I feel like so most of my albums are in progress projects. Just sitting here I can see 5 finite projects (overseas trips in 2011, 2015, 2016, 2018, my wedding) that have the photos printed and in the page protectors, I just need to make the rest of the layouts. I've also got 3 more where further photos need to be printed.
Then I have other ongoing albums that I add to as the inspiration and story strikes, like my childhood albums. I'm in no rush to finish any of my albums, I enjoy the process of creating so much and love reliving the memories as I dig back into each project.

If layouts count as a project, 4+. My dog album is always ongoing (just got a new puppy, so he gets a bunch of solo pages). I am doing OLW and making foundation pages for my first DD. I am also designing several random layouts which will be just of interest to me-my technology woes using a GPS device; my current bike and the bike I want to buy; my next 2 biking adventures. Waiting for my AE Mornings kit because I have a good nature pic for it. I need to order photos.
ETA: Almost forgot, I have a tiny October Occassionally notebook set up.

Not all of my "projects" are projects per se, but ongoing albums.
My ongoing albums:
Christmas 12x12 (added to each year)
Kid #1 general life (she's an adult, so it's mainly bday layouts now)
Kid #2 Life
Kid #2 school album
Kid #3 Life
Kid #3 School album
Kid #4 Life
Kid #4 School Album
My album, has moments, day trips, etc.
ETA:
Pandemic Album

I said one - but that's because while I have many projects ongoing, they often get left to the wayside. Sometimes for year I have several unfinished projects, but I haven't worked on them in quite awhile.

For me I voted 4+. My scrapbooks are chronological for my kids. Then I add in trips that DH and I have taken together, a family Christmas album, a album about scrapbooking (retreats, conventions, and such), and an occasional mini album about a specific theme or event like my parent's 60th, or DH's sailboat racing event.
