Wowsers, I nearly blew this one!!! My brain is on Sunday because of my work schedule this week...but it's Tuesday! Have I mentioned I'm a procrastinator but work best under pressure? I had this sketch already selected, so after I picked up some new fun stuff from my LSS (Cocoa Vanilla) I created the sample in 2 hours today. That is FAST FAST FAST by my scrapping style, and I truly vouch for both this sketch and for the "legendary" line by Cocoa Vanilla!! The sketch: I chose this because it was two 4x6 photos in different orientations. So often I am stuck with 2 photos, one landscape and one portrait! sketch 2 by kirstendrew, on Flickr And my sample! I'm not sure my DD will appreciate me sharing these photos layout rise and shine by kirstendrew, on Flickr Clustering today: To meet the 1 point "twist" element, simply create at least 3 clusters of 3 items. As a 5 point bonus: stamp an element in your cluster! My "sunbursts" are actually a fireworks stamp that I punched out in the circle. You don't have to stamp on the circular elements, but include a stamp in each of your 3 clusters. 5 points!

Love the sketch b/c of the two different orientations of the photos and layers. And I LOVE what you did with it. Can see you had fun with your new Cocoa Vanilla. And I would say your dd's attitude in the photos is LEGENDARY

kitbop, I love that sketch!! I too struggle with two photos of different orientation a lot!! So, I am in for this one for sure! I love the layout you did. Those pictures are too cute to not scrap! I have not seen that Cocoa Vanilla line, but will now be on the look out for it! Love it!

kitbop Another great sketch - thank you! The photos of your daughter made me laugh out loud - all in good fun! Really cute layout and I love the orangey-blue colors. I've never used a Cocoa Vanilla collection before. Looks great! wendy crowe The colors you've used pair off nicely with your sunset photos. Very pretty! I could only find one instance of a portrait and landscape duo, but I wasn't inspired by the pictures, so opted to use portrait and square! I also used a smaller square photo for one of the circle elements, too. When I was done with my layout, I somehow managed to place everything skewed to the left, leaving a 2" wide gutter on the right side of my page. I didn't like that it looked so lopsided, so I cut the 2" off and placed the whole layout centered onto a piece of patterned paper. I put it on crooked (!), so then added the skinny nail tape along the border to try to straighten the line. Sheesh! I didn't get any stamping onto the page, so no extra twist bonus for me.

wendy crowe, wow, you were so quick! I love the colours on your layout and the buttons are the perfect accent for the circles! Ryann - I love the addition of the side panels! It accentuates the central banner panel and is a fabulous addition whether you did it my mistake or not Adore the title

Your page turned out great, Ryann. Love that red mat at the back that matches his tie. And that triangle pattern is PERFECT! If you had not said anything about all your rescues, I would have thought you planned it this way! Left love on Flickr for kitbop and wendy crowe.

Here is mine. My son was very much a "typical boy", and loved dressing in his superheroes costumes all the time. But he also absolutely LOVED this chicken costume that MIL bought him one Easter. When they had a fancy dress day during his first year at school, I thought for sure that he'd wear one of his superhero costumes but nope, he wanted to go as a chicken! I especially love the photo of him skipping into school in the chicken costume.

I intend to go through and learn all I can from you about clusters cause I am cluster challenged! wendy crowe, AussieMeg there is love in gallery. Ryann you would never guess that page didn't come out exactly as intended. Those photos are great and I love that title!

I am really glad no one took MY photo this morning. Had a restless night, then slept in. I like to wake up slowly: let the dogs out, have my first cup of coffee while I scroll though email and the net and figure out my day. By the time DH has problems to solve or dd checks in about 8:30 I can give them all my attention. This morning they BOTH had issues to discuss before my first cup was even poured. Once they were all squared away I was not really in the mood for scrapping. But I had started this LO last night, so I finished it this morning. Not sure how I feel about it... I was all set to put the top right cluster next to the word Boy in the title. But then I read your comment about “flow”, kitbop, and didn’t know WHERE to put it. In the end I kind of floated it up the page... It is the left side of a 2-pager that I put into the Gallery and will link to the Sharing thread.

Here’s mine. I used some word stamps in my clusters and on a couple of the tags. I also used stamps and added stickles glitter on top. 2020 Sketchtember #23

So cool. Linda - love how the hearts are organized to arc through your photos! ComplicatedLady - this looks amazing split into the two pages. The long skinny banner is perfect. grammadee - I think that upper cluster is in the perfect place because it looks like your grandson is launching his toy up into that space!!! AussieMeg - your story and photos are the best type of memory. I love your origami star and how it coordinates with the middle banner pp.
