I haven't scrapbooked in years and still have A LOT of stuff. SO MUCH 12x12 paper! It's in perfect conditions but most of it is really old like Karen Foster Design stickers, Rusty Pickle paper & stickers, some SEI paper, Scenic Route, Graphic 45, etc. I'm thinking about selling some things on eBay. Is that the best place?

I think you’re better off donating stuff that old if you can find someone to take it. Maybe Girl Scouts or a senior center? I gave mt brand new older stuff to the goodwill, but it was still in packages.

I'd try a Facebook group like town classifieds or Market place.

Any October afternoon minimarket stickers No October Afternoon either. I'm donating a bunch of it and will try local marketplace for some. That's a great idea so I don't have to ship it. Thanks so much!

you could also gauge interest on the Buy/Sell board here
but I think older collections can be hit or miss

The cost to ship is going to eat into your profit or put off buyers. 12x12 is expensive to mail. Also USPS charges by weight, and paper adds up quickly. You'd be better off gauging interest locally. I always donate when I purge, not worth the hassle to try and sell. Last purge, I posted photos and gave a basic description on Nextdoor and someone picked it up that day from my front porch.

Ebay takes a ton of money, so build that into your price.
You can ship 12x12 paper in medium flat rate USPS boxes (the rectangular kind), but that's an additional $15 for cost.
Try posting on FB marketplace.
Also, if you still have an LSS, see if they have a garage sale. I did several over the years, and while I didn't get cash, I did get store credit for new stuff.

I would love the Scenic Route! If you'd like to sell it, please PM me, and maybe we can work something out.

you could also gauge interest on the Buy/Sell board here I had no idea we had a buy/sell board here, lol. Off to check it out. Thanks so much! Facebook Marketplace & Next-door are awesome ideas too! Thanks so much! My Scenic Route is a little deeper into my clean out. But I'll get there & let you know what I have.

i'd try FB marketplace first too. i think Ebay takes too much. i think Ebay may be worth it if you can group stuff together. that may be more convenient in terms of shipping and listings.

I just went through a major purge myself and I'd say eBay is okay. I didn't have much traffic there because the stuff I was selling EVERYONE was selling (old Stampin' Up sets from 5 years ago). My advice would be to search eBay for the stuff you want to sell and see a. if it's there and b. what they're selling it for. If there aren't a lot of listing for the items you want to sell, give it a try. I had better luck selling stuff on Facebook groups but make sure you price them cheaper and either offer actual shipping or maybe include shipping in the price.
