Yes, to those and ropers. But mostly/only with the country/farm/horse riding crowd in Washington state You would find them out in Enumclaw at the fairgrounds or down at the Puyallup fairgrounds. They were pretty popular in Kitsap and Mason county. There was a really nice western wear store in Tacoma close to the Chucky Cheese you can see from I5.

Yep! Wore those to the country bars for dancing for a good part of college. I know I had probably 15 pairs! And both lace up and regular Ropers to go with! Went to a ‘country’ bar in Seattle in the 90’s with some co-workers. I was the only one wearing ropers Silly me thinking a bar named Cowgirls would be country

Yep. My Dad was in a Country Duo band in San Diego in the 90's. These were the rage at all the Country bars. I never wore them myself, as I don't have the right rear end for them, but I still have my lace up ropers that my dh bought me for my 21st birthday. LOL Most comfortable boots I've ever owned and I've had quite a few pair of boots.

SO and I were talking about these jeans last night. He is from Amarillo and he said they were very popular there! Still? They were a thing with teen girls in Houston maybe 6-7 year ago, but the girls don’t wear them any more. “Butt bling” is no longer a thing. LOL To answer the OP, I had some jeans like that in high school or college, but they weren't any fancy brand. Maybe Lee. Lol @merge we are a little slower with the fashion trends here in the middle of nowhere... we still have lots of blingy butts... we still have lots of luluroe... we still have lots of vera Bradley.. lmao

No. Never heard of them. But I don’t know what ropers are, either.
Are miss me jeans still in style in Texas? They have been “out” for years here. I thought we were usually one of the last places to get/lose trends. Lol

Never heard of them! I thought "mom jeans" were big in the 90s. I can't stand those jeans because it makes my rear look huge and very tall! I love the low riders because my rear doesn't look too big. But I can't sit down in them. One of the many reasons I dread fall is because I can't stand wearing jeans. I look about 20 pd. heavier in jeans than shorts! I may have to start a thread about what are your favorite jeans as I only one one pair and I have gained too much weight and can't fit in them!

Yes! This cowgirl has heard of them. I had several pair of Rockies and several colors of Justin Ropers. I still have two pair of Ropers, navy and dark grey. They were ones that were made with all leather, including the soles. They don't fit now but I hate to get rid of them. Oh, and matching belts, too!

Yup! Class of 1995 here, grew up in Southern AZ and my Dad, who dressed western, was so happy when I asked for a pair of ropers and wranglers! I have great memories of us going to the boot barn together and buying them. Now we are Hispanic and dressing up in boots and hats was no big deal, but this was a bit of a different look! I honestly don't know where the trend came from but I did listen to a wide variety of music including country, rap, alternative, Mexican, and much more. It was an in thing to dress like this and even one of my Senior pictures is in this outfit 😂 Ahh, the 90's, such simpler times!

They were popular with the country music, horse lovers, line dancing folks. I never owned any. Not my style.
In the 80's(high School and early 20's), I wore Levi's 501, Jordache, Chemin De Fer and ZCavaricci. I also wore stirrup pants/leggings.
These days, I am strictly Levi's only, as they fit me the best. I used to wear straight legs only. Now I prefer the skinny leg Levi's.

Never heard of those but I had a pair of pocketless jeans I used to wear when I still had a cute butt. Now I really need a pocket to add some visual dimension back there. If the pocket has a flap, bonus!

Never heard of them. I would like my low waist flare leg Silver jeans from the 2000s back, especially the ones with leather laces on the side and waist, LOL. I was hot shit in those. Add a pair of wedges and a skinny top that would ride up just enough to show my tramp stamp and possibly the top of my thong as I fished through my Kate Spade purse for my Nokia and my Lancome Juicy Tubes with a spritz of Victoria's Secret perfume, LOLOL

Never heard of them in CA, OR and CO - the three states I lived in in the 90s. Nor Ropers for that matter. The only Ropers I know are from Threes Company!

South Florida - never heard of Rockies. But Ropers, have a few pairs I picked up in my travels to other states. Also have several pairs of Ariat Fat Babies. Nordstrom's used to carry Arait and had great sales. Not country or into horses but I like boots and both are very comfortable.

I grew up in a ranching community, and graduated in ‘95. I remember girls wearing Wranglers, but I (thankfully) was not a cowgirl, so I don’t know this brand. I grew up in the Bay Area, then moved to Utah for my last five months of high school and everyone wore Girbaud jeans, which were also stupid looking and I had never heard of before. Oh, girl. I remember when I saved up enough money and bought my first pair of Girbauds. I HAD ARRIVED.

Nope, never heard of them until this thread, and wouldn’t have worn them then or now. I was also never a boot girl even before I couldn’t wear anything with a heel.
I graduated in ‘85 and at my school the Guess? Jeans were where it was at. I only had a couple pairs because they were $75-100 a pair and I had to buy them with my own money from my after school job. I wore those jeans until they literally fell apart.
And LOL, I remember my 8th grade male math teacher wore unhemmed Jordache jeans with the fancy stitching on the back pockets. I recall someone asking him about that once and he said they were the only brand that were long enough in the inseam. The dude had to have been around 6’6” tall.
