Election Day is here!!! - Finally!

Notes from Joe - 29 days until the election..

From the very beginning of this campaign, my goal has been to have an honest, open conversation with you.

But this isn’t how I envisioned the final 29 days of this campaign. I hoped to visit your communities and have that exchange of ideas in person. I’ve even been known to go out and knock some doors. And while I’m still getting out there — in a socially distant way — I know I won’t be able to reach everyone.
That’s why, starting today, I’m going to be writing directly to you about the stakes of this election, about the future we can build –– together. I’ll be sharing personal stories and behind-the-scenes moments from the campaign, too.
Folks, all elections are important, but we know in our bones this one is more consequential.

We face a pandemic that has taken more than 200,000 precious lives from us. An economic crisis that has devastated small businesses and left millions out of work.

We face the accelerating threats of climate change –– and the most compelling call for racial justice since the ‘60s.

The U.S. Supreme Court, the Affordable Care Act, our very democracy –– all of this, and so much more, is on the ballot.

America is at an inflection point. We can stay on the current path of division and anger –– or we can choose a new path and take this chance to heal, to unite.
Together we will overcome this season of darkness.

We will defeat this virus. We will open the doors of opportunity to all Americans. We will save our democracy. We will be a light to the world once again.
Now through Election Day, I’ll be writing to you to detail exactly how we get this done. I hope you’ll keep reading.
