I have gotten so used to wearing athleisure that when I wore jeans the other day, it felt weird. Literally.
I miss wearing 90% of my jewelry.
Your turn....

I miss being able to go have dinner with my grandparents at their assisted living center, even if the food wasn’t always the greatest.

I miss going to Soup Plantation and I have not gotten used to the idea that it is forever gone. This a thousand times over. As a vegetarian this was my most favorite place to eat.

I’ve gotten used to having DH work from home for the first time in our 22 year relationship. I don’t want to ever go back to his crazy travel schedule.
I miss hugging friends and family, and live performances.

I have gotten used to Zoom socializing for many things, but I miss live music events, in person girls nights out, and travel.

I miss eating out with my friends - we would always have such a great time and make lunch last two or three hours. (We always tipped extra because of that)

I've gotten so used to wearing my hair up that I didn't realize it's been growing like a weed. It's way long. I desperately miss travel.

I miss hugs. I still have them with my DS cos he lives with me, but it’s been a long time since I hugged other people who are important to me. And I miss being with more than a couple of people at a time.

I have gotten used to not wearing shoes! I had to wear shoes (heels) for a formal occasion recently and I could not wait to take them off again. I should probably start wearing them every now and then because I am not sure I could wear them all day if and when we ever go back to the office.
I do not miss (work) travel but I do miss the personal contact with clients, the change of scenery every now and then. But most of all I miss living without Covid-19 fear. We were doing very well in the Netherlands for a while but there is a dramatic increase in cases at the moment and we are close to another lockdown. Somehow I find it a lot harder than the first time.

I miss being able to go to the store when I need something. Delivery and pickup is not the same as browsing in a store, looking at new things.
How will I know I need something if I don’t see it?

I miss travelling. I miss hugs. I miss seeing my Dad without a tear in his eye because of not being able to see Mum in the care home and all that goes with that 😔 Sorry to drag the thread down 😕

Somehow I find it a lot harder than the first time. I agree. I think it’s because the first time, we were at the end of the winter rains and we thought it would only be for a few weeks. The idea of staying home seemed appealing. And then the weather got nice and we could be outside, where meeting people was a lot safer. But now we are faced with a long winter and at least a year before normal looks anything like it did before. I miss people. Meeting people, traveling, making friends. I miss my family. We haven’t seen them in a year and it’s likely to be next summer before we see them.

I've gotten used to my dh being here 24/7 and my kids being here a lot more. I've also gotten use to having help with dinner since dh is home.
I adore my dh and love him wfh, but I do miss the occasional day where it was just me and the dogs. I miss being able to just decide to go shopping on a whim and go. Now I have to decide if it's worth going out or can I just buy it online.

I miss getting hot soup from the soup bar at the small farm market/grocery. Getting a cold container isn't the same. I fear they'll never bring it back.

I have gotten used to not wearing a bra, wearing yoga pants and flip flops every day, and working from home.
I miss eating out in restaurants, grabbing cocktails after work and just the feeling of wandering around Homegoods drinking an iced tea. I also miss working in the office. I am voluntarily going back 1 day a week next week and I cannot wait. I miss sports for my teenage son who has become so lazy I fear he will never get back to the athletic active kid he was.

I’ve become accustomed to grabbing my mask and wearing it. I don’t like it, but it’s really become a habit.
I miss people being able to just say yes without having to weigh out all the risks.

I have gotten used to wearing a mask (kind of) I miss traveling, going to watch my nephew coach at the college (D3) level, I miss going to the movies, I miss meeting friends for dinner, I miss a lot of things. I most miss my dad...a lot. I miss my mom being happy and not sad... I miss my great nephew that I never got to meet because he died at birth. (If COVID had not been here, I would have gone and hugged my nephew and his wife and gotten to say good bye to Paxton that day instead of just having a beautiful picture of him)

I miss traveling, concerts and hugs. I miss our dearest friends who have been self isolating for six months because of their son’s health issues.
I miss seeing students in person. I miss kindergarten wiggles and 5th grade eyerolls. I miss having lunch with colleagues.
I miss normal. I want my kids to be able to go back to school like school was before.

gar I'm so sorry, it's really heartbreaking to see our parents struggle
I'm used to having my husband at home all the time and I love being able to sit down and have lunch with him every day.
I miss just browsing in a shop and it feeling like fun, one of my favourite things to do in the before times was walk into the city, browse the shops, grab a coffee and just sit and people watch.
