This final kit is very BLAH! Kelly didn't even give us an exciting new stamp! This is an old stamp we already have perhaps in a different size. She could have spent some time and closed out subscriptions with a bang! No add-ons, no anything. Really, perhaps she should just close it all down like she wanted to pre-covid and spare us all the anxiety and disappointment.

I'm feeling pretty salty about this e-mail, so I'm just gonna sit on my hands for a bit before I respond.
ETA: Went to download my subscriber 6x8 cards and it says I need permission, but the cards &stamps were fine. FFS.

I'm kind of glad the sub is done because now I'll save even more money each month. Wait, who am I kidding, I'll find something else to spend that $30 on. I'll be interested to see what her plans for next year are.

She usually does really great things with Lunar New Year designs, and I was looking forward to seeing this one. I’m Year of the Dragon, and dragons are just cool to begin with, but that one lone card is a big disappointment.

Not happy to get a duplicate stamp, but still really sad to see another small business closing.

Not happy to get a duplicate stamp, but still really sad to see another small business closing. They're not closing, at least not yet. This is just a way for them to have no accountability to subscribers and not offer a discount / early access to anyone.

That’s true, but I guess for me, I have zero plans to buy from the site next year. The beauty of a subscription is that I don’t have to think about it, it just arrives like a wonderful gift I give myself. I have a fun PL and even made a few 6x8 minis out of the extras. And in 2024 if I have to eat my words because I can’t resist, I’ll still get some great (late) product out of it. Lol

What’s with the birds? First ae Jan kit and now kp? I don’t like them at all (not that I could get the kit anyway!)

So does it mean no more kits or just no more subscribing to kits and go the way FYC was? Hm. It's all very anti-climactic and odd -- a weird tiny 'bye!' lol. Maybe stick around for Christmas/holiday things?
This kit is whatever but that pink paper looks like my fiskars cutting mat and I can't unsee it.

I like the kit. I bought last year's New Year kit and really loved it. It had some gold 2023s that I have been using in my December Daily. I don't remember if I bought from someone on this board or from KP.
If you sub and don't want it, I'll buy it from you.
I'll just start a collection of those puffy star/heart/geotag stickers. I have at least 4.

Nothing new this month aside from the kit. Holiday digitals are 20% off through the end of the month. Clearance sale coming at the end of the month as well...

I think the clearance sales are delayed so everyone has to pay shipping.

The way I'm taking that 2nd email is that this is the end. Final kit, clearance of everything that's left. Sad.

I’m disappointed in the end of the subscription but knew it was coming. I’m also shocked at the price of her kits now, just looked to see if anything was worth adding this month (no, the shop is bare bones) and saw that the Dec kit is $40.49! If that’s what potential future kits will be priced, then it’s a very hard pass for me! Sad this is the end as I’ve always loved her style and on topic themes. No one else out there fills this void

So I know some are saying they will still have stand alone kits.....but are we sure? No. I’m doubtful there is anything coming. It seems like she’s deliberately not sharing what’s next, and I’m sure her audience predominantly WANTS something to continue, and the natural time to share that information would’ve been with these two communications. It’s weird though that she wouldn’t just say it’s over, because obviously she knows people are wondering. Maybe she’s still deciding? The whole thing is weird. I will say this - Elise Joy Cripe, of Get to Work Book planner fame (among other endeavors) is quitting it all. Closing her business. She did a podcast with Tiffany Han about it and if was really interesting how she described the business dwindling and no longer being profitable. It’s easy to see how a lot of the changes and challenges she described would apply to scrapbooking companies too. Really unfortunate all around.

And they still haven't responded to the multiple emails and requests for access I've sent about the broken link for the papers. I honestly don't like this kit at all but I paid for the damn thing and I want what was promised.

If you're a subscriber, you do get your 20% off the digital sale stuff. So, the stamp is $4.79 and then $0.96 off.
I'm willing to bet that the new kit prices will be the $40.49, possibly $38.49, based on the past kit prices on the site. I currently pay $26.99 monthly for the sub kit.

Ok I just wanted to make sure I hadn’t missed an instagram announcement or something. I agree - I don’t think anything is coming. She doesn’t seem to want to keep her customers and isn’t worried about her clients not getting what they paid for.

I like the stamp set (missed the similar one that was offered before), but wouldn’t use much else in the kit. $40, plus shipping is a bit too high for me for a stamp set.

I do like most of her designs but I also get the feeling she likes designing more than the business/shipping/customer service aspect and it's becoming too much a drag for her. I listened to Elise Blaha-Cripe on the pod where she says she is done with social media sharing/selling etc. The profit margins are so thin in that business, so I get it. But for Elise it was also lack of demand. Hope KP figures something out - I'd hate for her to close everything down.
