I just listened to this: Such a horrible man, no insight no responsibility no accountability and telling us all how amazing he is every step of the way. I just wish he would drop dead. He looks like he is having trouble breathing. Notice his shoulders. Problem with these statements is none of us would get these treatments and if we did we they would only be used right before being put on a ventilator. That’s what the drs were saying on the Today show at least. I think one was a non military dr working at Walter Reed.

More convinced than ever that he never had it. What does he mean he had to do it? He knew there was danger but he had to do it?
Is he saying he deliberately got covid to show everyone they can beat it? What a putz.

That’s what I’m seeing they think he is a hero for getting it and not being sick and telling us it’s no big deal we have medicines to beat it. He is a hero because he beat in just a few days. Too bad none of us can get these medicines.

I am surprised that he is being discharged today. However I don’t think he never had COVID. I think this is him once again thinking he understands medicine more than the doctors. He doesn’t understand the effects of the steroid. He announced the discharge to force it to happen. He’ll either end up back at Walter Reed in about 2 days (if he actually leaves today) or he will be miserable at the White House trying to keep up appearances. IMO, he and his enablers think they can control the situation better from the White House. But that way could be very dangerous. The White House has a pretty extensive medical facility in house with I think I read somewhere 22 staff. I was more talking about behavior, especially in regards to control. I agree the White House will have appropriate medical staff and equipment present. But I might guess, the medical team will be less in control about the day-to-day schedule then they were at Walter Reed. Trump and his people feeling more that they are able to throw their weight around about what happens when. Trump will push himself more than he should, with his staff reinforcing him all the time. I might also guess that the medical staff has less control of staff visitations then they might at the hospital. Too many visitors coming and going when he really needs to rest. Basically, the medical staff will only have full control if things start going very wrong.
Do you have a medical degree? Are you a scientist doing research right now on this? Did you have your 40 year old friend drop dead two months ago with Covid? Did you have 10 of your relatives die since March of this year? If the answer is no to even one of the above questions, then please stop saying that masks are not 100% effective. We are in this shot because of so called smart people who cannot be bothered to simple little thing to keep everyone alive.
@@end quote from Prapea Yikes. I didn’t say not to wear masks. But some people here are acting like it’s ok to do whatever you want (including riding in a hermetically sealed car with someone who has Covid, which was the post I quoted)) simply because they are wearing a mask. I have not heard any medical expert or scientist say that they are. Have you? Are you a doctor or scientist to be able to state that they are? Since medical professionals have been hard hit by being exposed to Covid at work when they do have PPE, it seems safe to say that they are not 100% effective. Aren’t n95 masks called that because they block 95% of the particles? Cloth masks would be less effective than that, but definitely better than nothing, and one of the best protections we have. Anyway, my point was that even with masks we need to take precautions and not put people at risk needlessly. Trump has done many irresponsible things since being exposed and/or testing positive. And people will be following his example, sadly.

It seems that his plan is to claim he had Covid, that he had a miraculous recovery-that he “beat Covid” in a day, to likely distract from Eric trump’s deposition, his finance/tax troubles, and to tell others not to be afraid and reopen everything, and for his base to declare him a hero—while his surrogates like Kayleigh go on Fox News to say that trump has developed the medicines to cure Covid!

Just watched close-ups of him on that balcony last night after he takes his mask off and you can see he's finding breathing an effort. He's not over it yet.

Look, I get that Trumpies just love their leader but is this really a good play even to the Trumpies?!?!
You think in their addled minds they really think they can fight covid just like Trump w/his Marine One flight to a preeminent medical facility to be given a cocktail of the most expensive treatments available to fight this thing?!?
You really think they sit in their modest homes w/their pittance of savings and their "church health plans" and think that?!?

Or calling white supremacists "good people?" The fact is, he did not do that. Politifact
His actual words: “Excuse me, they didn’t put themselves down as neo-Nazis, and you had some very bad people in that group. But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides. You had people in that group – excuse me, excuse me, I saw the same pictures you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.” “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally.” “Racism is evil, and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.”

“You had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides. You had people in that group … There were people in that rally — and I looked the night before — if you look, there were people protesting very quietly the taking down of the statue of Robert E. Lee. I’m sure in that group there were some bad ones. The following day it looked like they had some rough, bad people — neo-Nazis, white nationalists, whatever you want to call them. But you had a lot of people in that group that were there to innocently protest, and very legally protest.”
— President Trump, Aug. 15, 2017
“I was talking about people that went because they felt very strongly about the monument to Robert E. Lee, a great general.”— Trump, April 26, 2019
On the night of Aug. 11, the neo-Nazi and white-supremacist groups marched on the campus of the University of Virginia, carrying flaming torches and chanting anti-Semitic slogans. This is where Trump got into trouble. While he condemned right-wing hate groups — “those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans” — he appeared to believe there were peaceful protesters there as well. “You had people — and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists — because they should be condemned totally,” Trump said on Aug. 15, several days after the rally. “But you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists.”
He added: “There were people in that rally — and I looked the night before — if you look, there were people protesting very quietly the taking down of the statue of Robert E. Lee. I’m sure in that group there were some bad ones.”
But there were only neo-Nazis and white supremacists in the Friday night rally. Virtually anyone watching cable news coverage or looking at the pictures of the event would know that.
It’s possible Trump became confused and was really referring to the Saturday rallies. But he asserted there were people who were not alt-right who were “very quietly” protesting the removal of Lee’s statue. But that’s wrong. There were white supremacists. There were counterprotesters. And there were heavily armed anti-government militias who showed up on Saturday. “Although Virginia is an open-carry state, the presence of the militia was unnerving to law enforcement officials on the scene,” The Post reported.
—————
He did say it, and only days after, did he condemn the white supremacy/neo nazis.
Pay attention to the dates, of what transpired and when he said what he did—the timeline matters.

It is 3 years and a few days shy of 3 months, and it is crystal clear that Gia will never ever admit to what Trump really said and what he meant, as been evidenced by who he has hired into the White House and what he has said in various incidents over the years, including his call just one week ago to the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by ... somebody has to do something about antifa and the left.” I anticipate an epic tome of a post where she tries to dispute each anti-Semitic instance laid out in the article: jewishdems.org/anti-semitism-undertrump/Hopefully, my block feature continues to work and people don’t quote her, because I’d hate to waste energy reading it.

For more in the know peas:
If the debate says BOTH VP Pence and Sen Harris are to be in a plexiglass booth, will the debate team make Pence do so?
He is not happy (dumba$$) and doesn't want to be enclosed in plexiglass.
I hope they make him!

I hope they make it part of the rules, either you stay behind plexiglass or you don’t go on stage. Let Kamala Harris have all the time to speak if he refuses.
