Outside - just a Halloween themed garden flag. Inside - right now some basic autumn decor. Will add a few small Halloween items. I do not have the energy (physical or mental) to do much. Not even buying and carving a pumpkin this year.

I probably will not put out any Halloween decor this year. I usually have about 70 trick or treaters, but since the CDC recommends against it, I'll just turn off the lights this year. It's a bummer, but DH is high risk.

Typically I do. I have Halloween gnomes I got from TJMaxx/Home Goods/Marshalls. However this year since I’m doing some work around the house, I won’t put out anything.

Yes, but I didn't make a great effort in making it look nice. No outside decorations because I'm not going to give out candy this year. Very few people wear masks despite reported cases of 1000+ a day lately.

We decorated yesterday and I am going to go out today and buy more things. My five year old was up bright and early in anticipation of doing it. Since she is the the age now where Halloween and Christmas are everything, and this holiday season will be sadly different and without most of our traditions, I plan to go overboard with the decorations!

I’ve made some bunting and an apron. I’ll decorate as usual, but it won’t be the same without the neighbourhood little ones calling by.

Yesss !!! After this crappy year, I can't wait to decorate our yard, outside of the house, and inside. I've only just started, so I'll share some old piks. These piks are from last year. See that FUN green monster hand? The fingers move and it likes to grab DH in inappropriate ways.

I wasn’t going to because I don’t want my outdoor decorations to get covered in ash from all the fires happening but it seems we have break so put them up today. I don’t get any kids for Halloween so the decorations are really just for me and my neighbors.

Not this year. I’m planning to skip it this year. We don’t have any kids at home, so there really isn’t anyone who will miss it.

Not really for Halloween but I am putting out pumpkins and gourds by my front door and I have mums in pots. I think inside it will just be fall and winter calendars - I don’t think I’ll bring out anything else.

My absolute favorite gourd is the green goose neck - I have to buy multiple every year and place around my yard... Curious if others have a favorite gourd???

I don't do outside decorations any more but inside I have my pumpkins, colorful gourds, witches hats, orange floral arrangements, pumpkin lanterns etc. all out. Orange and black are my favorite colors so those decorations go well in my living room. I also have four good sized plastic black rats that I put on the top of my mirror. I bought them years ago for 99 cents each and they are so creepy that I just love them.

I am not. I used to decorate inside and outside when the girls were younger but after they grew up I lost interest.

I did for fall - my front porch is all pumpkins and mums. But I saw a meme the other day, the question was posed “what are you doing for Halloween?” and I believe it’s a gif of Melissa McCarthy from some movie and the captions says “I might get drunk and put my Christmas decorations up! 😂😂 Found it!! But sadly, we are out of space again so I can't upload it lol

Not this year. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays-it’s a candy holiday, what can I say? However, I have surgery scheduled for the 30th, so I won’t really be doing much the next day. And we are one of THOSE, neighborhoods, where the decorating is all out and the candy is great! I wonder how COVID will affect it though. Maybe I will visit with my neighbor for an hour or two just to share a bit of the fun!

I'm hoping more of you will post piks of your decorations ! I've been wanting to add orange ribbons to this cute skeleton garland, but haven't yet.

Bummer! I was hoping to see more piks After the "horror show" that has been 2020, I hope my over-the-top / purposely tacky decorations have made people smile when they've driven/ walked by. I have a feeling StephDRebel goes ALL OUT for Halloween, so I'm tagging her and hoping she'll share some piks! ( Steph, I remember some of your FUN posts in the past where you had a cotton candy machine, ( and maybe a popcorn machine, too?) for Halloween? I love it when people do extra fun things like that! Also, how about our dear Horror movie-loving PolarGreen12 ! Girrrrl, did you decorate for tonight? I'd love to see! Also, do Grady and Ollie have costumes? Do you usually get lots of trick-or-treaters ? Are all of my questions getting on your last nerve? And we are one of THOSE, neighborhoods, where the decorating is all out and the candy is great! ETA: katiekaty ...hope your surgery went well, and I'm jealous that you live in a neighborhood that (normally) goes all out with decorating. Was the decorating decreased a lot this year? I hope you get to visit with your neighbor and have some fun.

I hope you get to visit with your neighbor and have some fun. I have a Halloween wreath on the door and a ceramic pumpkin out. But hats it usually there’s is 3-4 huge totes of decorations put. We all usually hand out full size bars of candy. One guy gives out coloring books and packs of colors. Another lady puts little artist paint kits together. And there just tons of fun little treats plus good candy! I think out of the 400 houses in the neighborhood only about 15 have the elaborate decorations. Many have wreaths or pumpkins. I found out yesterday there is a group that is planning a drive thru trick or treat for the kids where they will go thru and collect goodies while remaking in their car. Everyone participating has to wear masks and gloves. I am not going because of the shoulder surgery, but my two sons decided to participate! They hit up four dollar trees and grabbed Halloween necklace and little wooden air planes and headed to sams for some snickers and Kit Kat’s. One is going to be a mechanic and the other is going to be a doctor. I guess at 33 and 37 you still want to be a kid! I hope take pictures! The surgery did got well. I had one last month. Two more to get through before the end of the year! Taking advantage of having reach out of pocket expense, etc. everything remains is zero bucks! So, that’s my treat this year!

scrappintoee yes the boys have costumes. 😊 They didn’t get new ones this year but they have plenty in their closet to choose from for a pic tonight. I intended to take them to the pumpkin patch this week for pictures but it rained every day. 😕 I just decorate for fall at home, but I always went all out for Halloween in my office. And we get zero trick or treaters. 🤷🏻♀️
