Hello, Peas! 👋🏻 I'll be your host each Sunday during CARDtober. I'll be sharing a different sketch each Sunday all month long. For my first sketch, I'm using one of my "go to" card designs. For your optional twist, include some stripes anywhere on your card.  Here's the card I created using the sketch for a bit of inspiration .  |

I like the brown with the pink, Linda . Here is my take on the sketch. Thanks for keeping me more to the CAS side, @coffecrafter. I was really drawn to the art on these P13 papers, and your sketch helped me highlight it without going over the top.  CARDtober #4 with P13 Winter by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I put together 8 cards this morning. These are two of them.Since I don't have the bonus (no stripes) and these are pretty simple, I think I am going to claim points the Easy Peasy way. Eight cards created & two of them shared (10) plus 15 points per card (120). total: 130 |

grammadee - thank you - old SEI paper, I think, that I was rak-ed a while back. I love how you highlighted the beautiful images on the paper! Lovely cards! scrapnnana - I always love red/white/blue and that big red flower is the perfect addition to your card!

Thanks for the challenge, CoffeeCrafter . Your card is so clean and elegant. linda , I like your color combination. grammadee , nice use of those lovely woodland animals. The design really makes good use of them scrapnnana , I also like your color combination and your stitched effect. I had on my list to use this paper with this embellishment and this design was perfect for it.  |

scrapnnana, I like your stitched layers the banner and tag. jjpeapea, I love how you repeated--only larger--the floral motif on the focal point. And I love the teal with the red on a Christmas card.

Linda - Love the combination of the pink, green, and brown on your card. I love combining pink with more earthy tones! grammadee - Lovely slimline take on the sketch! Those animals are gorgeous. You do CAS very nicely.  scrapnnana - Love the patriotic color combination on your card! I'm glad you enjoyed the challenge. I'm very much a CAS card maker at heart, so you'll see that reflected in each of the sketches I post this month. Of course, you're always free to layer and embellish it up as much as you like. jjpeapea - Love your holiday take on the sketch! The combination of the text and mini polka dot backgrounds with the floral is stunning!

And whoops, I forgot about the stripes on the ones I posted earlier. Here is a quick one with a triangle shape and striped pp taking my bonus points for this one, so: one card created & shared (2). CARDtober card + twist + bonus (8). #16 all PhotoPlay (1), #24 rectangles (1), #29 old sequins, new papers (1), #36 choosing sequins this month (6),#61 Merry (2), #73 (2). Total: 23
