So in preparation for doing a DD again this year I went through my Xmas stash houses in iris cases. Mind you, I picked up a CT and FYC kit. And a few bits of Elles studio for this year.
I found 3 different October Afternoon holiday collections. Probably not full ones but A LOT of papers and pieces. And a DD kit from AE that I got on clearance. No idea when! And some PL cards. Some old SC holiday stuff. And Basic Grey holiday pieces. Some stamps too. It was like a trip down memory lane. 😍
My name is msupea and I don’t regret one purchase. I know I have a problem.

I need to learn how to upload pictures here. The OA stuff...I forgot how awesome those lines were. Some of it might even match the CT kit.

I still have some papers and a few embellies from OA Christmas lines in my hoard. I think some pieces of the Make it Merry, Silent Night, and Under the Tree lines will work well with the colors and vibe of the Citrus Twist kit. Very excited to go through my stash this weekend and put everything together for this year's December album Here are some links to remind us of the OA awesomeness OA Make it MerryOA Silent NightOA Under the Tree

Me too, I bought all the things when they had the going out of business sale and I've used a lot of it.

I found a 6x6 BG paper pad of Eskimo Kisses at the Goodwill bins this week. It was one of my most exciting thrift store finds ever! I love the slightly quirkiness of the old lines and the color palettes.

Looking at the links reminds me how much I miss OA - the paper, the colours, the texture.

Yes! Loved those Santa Sack boxes, I bought a few of them over the years which helped fill out my OA collections. Some of the Christmas line pieces I will use this year came from those Santa Sack boxes. I always wrapped up my Santa Sack box to put under the tree as a present to me from "Santa."

Oh man Santa Sacks were a weakness of mine...I used to bite the bullet and pay shipping to Australia because they were always stuffed with goodness.

It feels like (at least to me) that if you're only hoarding OA and Christmas, you are just completely normal. Talk to me when you start hoarding more

Same! I have multiple totes of Christmas lines. That doesn’t include stamps/dies. I just can’t say no to Christmas crafts.

Holiday Style is still an all-time favorite for me. I also collect vintage Christmas, so it’s like my two worlds collided in the best way.

October Afternoon was fabulous! For some reason I only ever bought one, or two of their lines, I’m not sure why. I also have a huge problem with hoarding Christmas supplies. I think at this point I probably have more Christmas supplies than everything else put together. It’s just an area where I can’t make myself purge, and I can’t quit buying more each year😬🙈. It does bring me a lot of joy, even just going through it all, and I have the space to store it nicely, so I don’t really have any regrets, or plans to change🤷♀️😂😂

I think I've got one full sheet of OA Christmas paper left and a small handful of scraps and die cuts that never make it into my Christmas albums but also never get purged. I found a 6x6 BG paper pad of Eskimo Kisses at the Goodwill bins this week. It was one of my most exciting thrift store finds ever! I love the slightly quirkiness of the old lines and the color palettes. I used this in my DD last year, it was nice to work with something so different from the colour palettes that are currently around and I love how the album came together.

I have a little bit of most of those OA lines-I sure wish manufacturers would check these threads and bring out something like this again I also can’t help thinking that OA were ahead of their times with those mists and minimarket stickers

I am shocked that I don't have some of those lines. I love OA, I don't know why I don't have more of it. I do have their wonderful Halloween line, though.
I do have a ton of Basic Grey Christmas paper lines, though. I still scrap with that paper- I love the rich colors. The designs are so different than what manufacturers are putting out now.

My downfall is cat themed paper. If I see something I like I’ll add it to my stash. I love the MME Meow collection so I bought the kit at their sale a while back. It came with lots of nice paper and embellishments. And I just used the last of my SEI kitty paper. I wish I’d bought more.

I hear you about the Christmas collections. I have an entire huge 12 x 12 file case dedicated to Christmas collections, and that doesn't include the 6 x 6 pads!

I actually used up a very old K & Company/Brenda Walton 12 x 12 paper pad to make my December Daily album for last year. I just finished it a few weeks ago, and it turned out really cute. I felt very good about using it, because now I get to look at my adorable album, instead of looking at the paper pad that was just sitting there doing nothing.

Oh OA was probably my most favorite line of all time, even more than Chatterbox. I got lucky about 8 months ago or maybe a little longer. Someone linked me to a website that had all their leftover OA on clearance. I bought a ton. They didn't have a lot left to begin with.. but I sure did help put a dent in their stash.
I should look around again and see if I can find any old stuff.
