I hate to say it, but I feel like it's all been done before. I like EP and CB, but their stuff is getting to be just the same thing used over and over with a couple different words, or one different color. Nothing here excites me at all. A few things in the coffee collection are ok, but like others have said before, why is it only coffee? What about tea? Or just neutral type things? Meh, from me.

The Celebrate line is a nice unisex not so kiddy cute birthday line. Might get that one. The others, not so much.

I like the basketball line, but unfortunately it's red. Why not do black and white? I know it's hard not to do specific colors, but red seems odd.

There are always so many options for he girls, but it seems like the only lines suited for boy birthdays are for babies. This one is a good one for all age kids. Alas, my kids are grown, and I've already scrapped all the kid birthdays. There isn't much I need, but I really like the large print Valentine Floral. It'll probably find its way into my cart. It's a nice one for fussy cutting.

Just checked out the Valentine line, msliz, and the thing I like most about it is that TRUCK. Yet it appears to show up only on the label. Same thing with that coffee truck. I would get either one of those as a stamp & die set, but I don't see much of that on the papers or in the diecut pieces.

I might get the Let’s Celebrate in 6x6 for cards but the rest don’t interest me.

They're all a big nope from me. As babylou, seen it all before - too often. Good gods, find your way to something fresh, EP.

Well- as soon as I saw the name “Steven Duncan” I knew I would be all over that line!!! I always love love love the particular blues he uses ,even back to the old OA days and also I think I like the masculine vibe of it It shall be mine Damn- defrosting as we speak!
And I’ve just finished making a set of cards with EP’s older coffee line and I like those colours better than these lighter ones

The Steven Duncan line is good. None of the others appeal to me at all. I had hopes for the basketball and football line but the color choices are weird. Actually, I think the coffee color choices are weird, too. I agree that CB and EP are getting way too repetitive. I don't see anything fresh.
I don't really need another birthday line but if I did I'd get the Steven Duncan one. I do love his designs.

I actually like the colors in the coffee line, but who really needs a whole collection for coffee? I like the floral paper, as well as the mocha mugs and latte paper. I like the basketball collection, too, but have no need for the entire line. And like msliz , I like the floral in the valentine collection. The valentine collection looks just like an older EP collection. The birthday ones, meh.

I like the Magical Birthday Boy line. While there are some phrases with "boy" I could still easily use this line for my daughter. I could use it for my husband too.
I want to like the Magical Birthday Girl line. I really do. There's something about it that doesn't work for me though. I'm happy to see something Disney inspired not in the usual black, red, yellow, and blue...but this doesn't do anything for me. I think the pink is too pastel for me. The only color they changed was red to pink...maybe if they had gone with a darker pink it would look right. At the moment, black is the color that stands out most to me which doesn't scream birthday in my book. Maybe that's why I don't like it. 🤷🏻♀️

A few things in the coffee collection are ok, but like others have said before, why is it only coffee? What about tea? Or just neutral type things? Yes! Tea! And tea not for tea time where you get all dressed up and use china. How about a "morning tea" in a mug like coffee? How about a tea bag on the plate? How about some tea bags with tea tags with cute sayings? How about a generic hot beverage? How about iced tea? How about some normal tea pots? How about some tea kettles on a stove? A canister of loose tea? ...I think I've spent too much time thinking about this. I'm drink coffee but it's not needed to start the day. My cup of tea is a necessi-tea. (Hehehe...now I'm giggling. I think I need a second cup!)

I think I need a second cup!) Exactly. I drink coffee and I like it, but it's not my whole life! I also drink tea and like that too. And maybe I have tea with friends. Not just coffee. Or yes, a generic hot beverage. This time of year in this part of the country, apple cider becomes a big thing! How about something I can use about that?! This collection just seems so limiting...

This collection just seems so limiting... I bought their last coffee collection and I regret it. It is VERY limiting. I like the colors but there are only so many coffee layouts and cards I can make. I've put it away for a while and will go back to it at some point as the B sides are ok. They're just SO out of ideas. And Birthday BOY! Birthday GIRL! again. Thanks for AGAIN telling us which genitals go with which colors, Echo Park. Don't just label them Birthday Bold and Birthday Pastel or something like that. Nope. Make sure you decree the genitals to color rules.

Just chiming in the same...it's so repetitive. Tea would be great...a cozy kind of line.
I am so sick of kid birthday stuff. I have MAN birthdays that have tons of pics, and also young adult birthdays. It's either. "Over the Hill" type birthday stuff, or kid's stuff. I know I can make my own, but for once I'd like to get excited about a birthday line.

I like the colours of the Coffee collection but am not into coffee - I would pick up on sale/clearance/TM to use B-sides
I have no need for a valentine's collection ditto for Basketball/Football
No to Magical (girl), maybe to Magical (Boy) - I do like Celebrate

Having been lucky enough to do my Birthday at Disney before and going this year it, I like a few of the Birthday papers and would totally use. But if I hadn't done or wasn't doing my Birthday at the park I'm not sure I would feel the same. The others are okay. I'm curious what else CB will be coming out with. They usually release something a little different, like their retro space line a few years ago, and then the Paris fashion line, and the suedo-Mary Poppins.

I like the coffee theme collection but as some have said, it’s too much coffee. It could have been saved by taking away some coffee related things and adding more generic ‘time spent together’ or ‘let’s get together’ type of words or phrases. I’d consider buying a few pieces but not the whole collection.

The Magical Birthday Boy collection pack will probably make it to my desk.
We’ve done Disney enough around birthday times and there’s so much that will coordinate with their other collections I still have pieces of.
The Magical Birthday Girl. No. I’m all about bringing in colors to scrap my Disney photos, but the colors are just off. They didn’t do a good job with replacing the red with pink. The other colors are so saturated, the pink is just wrong.
I’m not too big on any of the other ones either.
I like the Celebrate Birthday one, but since I don’t do multiple spreads and pages for each birthday anymore, how much birthday product do I really need?

I think all of these are a pass for me (which is fine because I certainly do not need anymore paper)! I usually only scrap a few birthday pics a year, so I tend to use stash, or just pick up a sheet or two of whatever birthday paper I can find at the time. I like the coffee line, but I bought the last one (which I prefer), have a Stampin' Up coffee line from a few years ago, and have numerous stamps and dies. I love coffee, but I need to find ways to make the supplies more generic. I like your ideas, Elsabelle. Reframing some of it as time spent together is a great idea.

I’d consider buying a few pieces but not the whole collection. I 100% agree! They should sell ephemera/stickers for the line that aren't coffee related, that can be used more broadly. Call me crazy, but I even think the colors/florals of the coffee line would go well for sympathy cards. Of course, you can bring in your own dies and stamps, etc, but as a non-stamper and non-die cutter, I heavily rely on stickers and ephemera.

I agree - the celebrate line is the only winner here, and I REALLY like the colours and that a lot of the patterns are generic and can be used to scrap my boys! And I didn't buy birthday lines for a long time because I didn't like them, so I'm actually trying to find a few now...good timing for me! The sticker sheet is jam packed.

The coffee line the colors remind me of tea not coffee for some reason and I still have a lot of the last EP coffee line.
I'm not sure the very red basketball line goes with my daughter's dark green uniform. The bb season was near Christmas though...
I don't have any use for football or Disney.
The CB birthday line I could use. Not a single birthday boy or birthday girl on there. If it said happy birthday to ME at least once, I'd be sold.

They're all a big nope from me. As babylou, seen it all before - too often. Good gods, find your way to something fresh, EP. That's why I like Echo Park. Kind of like Doodlebug with their bright colors. I get an idea of what colors I've used up and when a new line comes out, I look for those. I typically use B sides of paper though.
I actually like the colors in the coffee line, but who really needs a whole collection for coffee? I really like the colors too. I think the B sides are usable.
Also peas, I don't know if Echo Park is owned by Mormons or not, but I have heard complaints about not enough diversity. Anyway, good chance they are because they are headquartered in a county with 90% plus belonging to that religion. They do have a designer that is gay and a minority. I don't know about the rest of the team. And coffee is shunned. I'm sure that sounds stupid, but trust me, they have done *2* coffee lines. They've listened and we've seen different skin tones! Baby steps, right? Now we need to push them to do a pride line!
I get the annoyance at boy and girl lines, but it doesn't bother me all that much. I use "boy" lines on most of my daughter's pages.

EP Coffee and Friends- I really like the colors and could use most of the B sides, not the theme EP Cupid & Co-pass, don't have a need, but it's cute EP Basketball- not big into basketball, if I was, I would get the stamp set EP Football- not big into football, if I was, I would get the stamp set CB Let's Celebrate (by stevenduncandesigner )- Nice! I need to use up more birthday paper before I can buy his though.
EP Magical Birthday Boy and Girl. I'm confused about these lines. Is this a common thing? Celebrating birthdays at Disney? Enough to do two separate lines? This is coming from someone who has only been there once. I like some of B sides, but not enough to purchase it right away.
ETA: Forgot to add I love the wood floor paper in the basketball line. I want that, but for different pages.
@sunnycamom a couple of the B side papers in the Steve Duncan line would work really well for Autism pages if you wanted to use the colors that they have on the ribbon.

Thanks for your responses. Like many of you, I find the EP & CB collections have become formulaic. The same themes & designs are frequently repeated just in different combinations & color palettes. However, I always appreciate the usable & versatile patterns (e.g. plaids, stripes, dots, stars, hearts) on the reverse sides & may pick up a couple from each of the Magical Birthday, Let's Celebrate, & Cupid & Co collections. I am disappointed, however, in the color schemes, patterns, & sentiments of the sports lines.
I also noticed a distinct reduction in embellishments to only diecuts & stamps for each collection (e.g. the Magical birthday lines also offer dies & only Cupid & Co has stencils, but no adhesive brads, chipboard accents, chipboard phrases, enamel dots, puffy stickers, or sticker books in any of the 7 lines); hopefully it's attributable to the supply-chain interruption caused by the pandemic & just temporary.

I'm a big fan of the EP and CB lines as well. They can definitely be a bit repetitive, but since they use a lot of themes I like, especially florals, it doesn't bother me that much. Rather than buying stuff from their new collections, I decided to take advantage of their current warehouse sale on their outlet website. I picked up 15 collections kits (including the older coffee one) and a 6x6" paper pad for only $78 plus tax. Shipping was free since I spent over $50.
