I'm finally started working on my Christmas cards last night... which I usually have half done by now... I die cut a large snowflake from glitter paper and when I glued another die cut on top, it's not sticking. I used Ranger Distress Collage Medium, which I thought would stick to just about anything! I don't want the recipients to have to reassemble the cards when they arrive in the mail - LOL! What is the best glue to use for glitter paper?

If that's not working, you could try Glossy Accents or plain tacky glue. If all else fails, you could also try a little hot glue. E600 is fantastic, but there is an odor, so you might not want to use it if you're sensitive.
I usually have success with tacky glue, so it's what I try first.

I feel you! I had to give up on that one and just let my silver snowflake be its own shiny self. I did not feel like breaking out the hot glue for card making, (I always make a mess with the strings everywhere) so I just went a different direction with my card.

Have you tried a glue dot? Those are my go-to when other glues won't work.

Sometimes on difficult surfaces, I use a glue stick on both pieces, but I really smash it into the rougher piece.
Also consider super glue. You can get it cheap at dollar tree

Have you tried a glue dot? Those are my go-to when other glues won't work. I hadn't thought of that... the die I'm trying to stick to the glitter is Stamp Market Merry Merry which is in a few separate pieces... would take a lot of glue dots! Its been a couple of hours and I think it's sticking now after I reapplied more glue. I was thinking about adding some double sided adhesive before running the cardstock through my die cutter. But at the end of the day I'm having trouble finding white glitter paper so I may have to re-think that anyway!

I always have success with the Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive!

I've found the best glue for that type of paper, or anything that is hard to stick down is Tombow Mono Liquid Glue Multi. It comes with two separate tips, one pen tip and one broad tip. It doesn't take much to make a good bond, either.

I use art glitter glue with success-and put something heavy on it for a few mins to dry
