I haven't really posted in this area before now because I was a card maker and didn't do any type of memory keeping. Well, that's all changed recently after discovering the wonderful world of DIY mini albums. I've become completely obsessed! I've constructed and decorated five mini albums in the past month. I've even dusted off my Canon Selphy photo printer and started printing photos to put in said albums. My latest album is a Halloween-themed album made using the Flip Up Folio tutorial by Frances Long of Your Book of Memories. I decorated it using paper from the Pumpkin Party 6x6 paper pad from Doodlebug Design along with a couple of other black & white striped papers from my stash. JUST GREAT!!! I made two Halloween mini books years ago - one double page for each year's costumes. I won't show those cuz I'm weird about showing the kids. But here was a page about carving pumpkins from years ago. Still love these albums SO MUCH! They have little tucked away journaling about the costumes each year.   |
