Just curious if anybody has used this app, either for selling or buying? I have a couple of things I am considering selling on there, and I’m wondering if it’s too much of a hassle to bother with.

I used it once. I received a damaged item and received no satisfactory resolution from the seller.
There was no easy/obvious was to escalate the dispute or get any help from Mercari.
I deleted the app and refuse to ever use it again.

I've sold many items on Mercari and I've purchased many as well. I haven't yet run into any problems, and I've been using it for about six years now. I've sold household items, clothing, iphones and other electronics.

I sell there often. It’s WAY easier than eBay. I purchased twice. I was happy with one order but not the other (an item came in way worse condition than described, though I didn’t open a case even though I should have. It was a rough time). I never had a problem selling!
