Nope I went as usual as did the kids. I felt very comfortable with all the safety precautions my dental office took. Ditto. Our doctor is amazing, and she went above and beyond for her office, patients, staff, etc. Hubby and I went several months ago, and we were very pleased. I am going back as I need a new bite guard. I called them yesterday to get in.

I actually have an appt in 2 hours to see the dentist. First time since Nov. My regular cleaning was canceled in May. I hadn't planned on going back in yet, but I think I lost a filling. Ouch. So cleaning and get that taken care of.

My husband put his off. And just racked up a thousand dollar bill getting caught up on fillings and crowns. Dumbass. Meanwhile I’ve been three times to my dentist during covid and no issues. My dentist always kept her office clean and wore ppe anyways precovid.

Yes, I put off going to the dentist until Sept (had a March appt I cancelled til then). I was nervous to go, but was fine once I was there. They did seem to be taking every precaution. It was probably safer than going grocery shopping.

My May appt was rescheduled to August but I would have gone in May if I'd had the option. My teeth do not do well if I miss cleanings.
There were tons of precautions in place including a temperature and symptom check before you could even get to the waiting room. It was very safe, I didn't feel uncomfortable at all.

I get my teeth cleaned every 3 months, and I went to both scheduled appointments plus I had a filling come up that was fixed at my last one. I seem to have survived both. They are pretty cautious normally, so I wasn't terribly worried.
My dental hygienist retired during all this, so its been weird going to someone new after 18+ years!

Back in early March at the beginning of COVID I experienced intense tooth pain. Services were locked down in MN by governor's order - so just to get a diagnosis I had to swear on someone's life that I wasn't infected/exposed etc. They said I had a cracked tooth but it wasn't an emergency by definition, so I had to wait to get a crown and get it fixed. I learned not to eat on that side and I was able to deal with it. Fast forward to July they called and said it could be fixed now. So a week later I went in expecting a crown and they said it was too far gone so I had to have the tooth extracted that day. It's possible it could have been saved but oh well.
I just passed the three months waiting to get the second part of the procedure done - the implant which is the screw part which the crown will attach to - last Friday. That went okay. Now three months to wait and after that I'll be able to get the crown and fill this hole in my mouth.
It's all felt very safe.
