At first, I thought the dog & cat ones would be the standard color schemes - primary colors for dogs & pastel or pink for cats. Pleasantly surprised to see the cat one in the same primary colors. But, we don’t have a cat so that doesn’t really help me. Just once, I would love to see a dog collection with a little pink. It’s one area of my life that I could use a little pink and the only collections that don’t have it.

I love the cat one. Might have to source that one out.

I don't know why I continue to look at their new lines because I could probably count on one hand all the photoplay products I've ever purchased. That said I was pleased to see the cat line didn't go the traditional "girl" route, and the Love Letters line is cute enough (I think those little birds are sweet and I like the look of the black text print, just not the words they've used).

I like a few of the Valentine papers. Some of the heart b-sides would be cute for Minnie Mouse photos. It's rare that I would actually make a card or page for Valentine's Day.

I love Photoplay but I do not need any of these themes. I notice on the new school release 'Recess' that although it is very cute, it doesn't seem to have any theme related to recess - just the tired A+, First day of school blah blah blah.

I just used up my EP cat collection so the timing is good on the Photoplay release and the colours are awesome - out of my 5 cats, 3 are black and white and 1 is black...primary colours work well.

No pets and I don't scrap Valentine's Day very often, but it is really cute! I like that they did a cat line that isn't very feminine.

I have no need for the pet papers, but I am happy to see something a little different! Hopefully they are usable for some of you pet owners! The Valentine's is just like every Valentine's collection anymore. Too much pink. Although, the birdie stamps and dies are cute!

The dog one is really cute, maybe too cutsie for me. I wish it wasn't a full primary rainbow color scheme as it makes it seem more kiddish. But I love the sayings, especially the references to rescue/adopt. If this shows up at TM I will probably buy it.
No cats here but glad to see the non pink color scheme.
I'm not a fan of Valentine's collections, big nope from me.

Cat Lover is cute. I could use some of that. Pass on the rest.

I just made six pages using Muttcracker from Photo Play and it looks very much the same. Definitely a no-go on Love Letters. I will never use that much pink in a lifetime.

Thanks for your responses. I love Photoplay but I do not need any of these themes. I notice on the new school release 'Recess' that although it is very cute, it doesn't seem to have any theme related to recess - just the tired A+, First day of school blah blah blah. I also was not expecting a school theme from a collection named Recess. While not surprised by the primary color palette, I expected images, icons, & sentiments about play/playgrounds/having fun. However, I do like the non-themed reverse sides (e.g. multicolored stripes, notebook paper, green polka dots) & the plaid. ...I just made six pages using Muttcracker from Photo Play and it looks very much the same... Photoplay has certainly gotten mileage out of the same plaid, perhaps with slight color alterations, that appears in Muttcracker - Countdown, Living the Quarantine Life - Plaid, & the newly introduced Dog Lover - Dog Toys!

The papers are a bit busy for me and too cutesie. Even all the packs that were at TM were the same way. I really wanted to love them at that price but I passed on all of them except for one.

Kudo's for the non pink cat papers! And I like the "color me" papers where you can recreate your own pet's colouring.
I think my favourite parts are the stamp & die sets. Love the little birdies with that jar! And the dog and cat sets would probably be more useful than the papers themselves.

I will likely grab a couple of sheets from the dog line if my LSS gets it in, I love the pocket page inserts and I like that style of illustration and the bright colours. I have a couple of sheets from older dog lines that are more distressed and in more muted colours and I much prefer the brighter primary colours. No cats in my life so I will pass on that line but it is adorable.
The Valentines line is not my thing. I love pink and I like pink and red together but I can't my finger on what it is about this line that is too much for me, I also have some super old Heidi Grace paper in these exact colours and I am still making my way through that collection. The birds stamps are something I would use, I love anything with a bluebird or swallow.

Finally, some cat paper that’s not overly cute or full of fish skeletons. I still have some unscrapped pictures of a male cat I had a while back. Of few of these papers would work well for me.

Finally, some cat paper that’s not overly cute or full of fish skeletons. I still have some unscrapped pictures of a male cat I had a while back. Of few of these papers would work well for me. One piece is fish skeletons on both sides. Funny, I looked at that line and thought (sarcastically) "oh, good, fish skeletons again". When did fish skeletons ever make sense? And for that matter, don't we know by now that dog houses are a bad thing? Outdated clichés all over the place. I do like a few of the cat papers, just not that one. I really like the meow paper, the one with cats on it, and the one with the borders. I am so glad they aren't pink. Pink goes pretty well with my cats aesthetically (I have a black cat and a tuxedo cat) but their personalities are definitely not pink. The dog one has a couple of good pieces but I'm not super impressed. The Valentine one is just yuck. Manufacturers need to make a Valentine's line that isn't so relentlessly pink. It would be nice to have a love line that is more versatile.
