This Friday’s challenge is to create a card inspired by a KIT. I used the PhotoPlay Gnome for Christmas kit, and [almost] followed their directions. (actually I just used the illustration as a guide)
The challenge is to use a kit. Could be a card kit or a DD kit, or even a page kit, if it inspires you to create a card.
TWIST: add some sequins or enamel dots.

Maybe I should have asked you to define “kit” before making my card. I don’t subscribe to kits. I have bought a few scrapbook layout kits at conventions, but I didn’t want to cut into those. While under “Stay at Home” orders, I have bought quite a few Queen & Co. kits. Their Support Sentiment Stacker kit included patterned papers, dies, and stamps, so I hope that counts as a kit. Anyway, that is what I used this morning, along with a few additional dies to make this card this morning:

I don’t subscribe to kits either. I organize my stash by grouping them together by theme, can I use the birthday theme for example?

Thanks, grammadee! Your examples for this challenge are adorable! I love gnomes, but I have yet to make a card with I guess I need to challenge myself to find my gnome stamps and do at least one gnome card this month. This may sound weird, but I love Christmas cards that have a lot of blue to them, so I especially like your color combination.

Thank you, jjpeapea. Your card is lovely, and you did a great job creating an asymmetrical design that is still balanced. That can be difficult to do.

jjpeapea , I love your card! Great clustering, and I love how the banner weaves over the wreath on the one side.
I used to do alot of those CTMH kits, but haven't ordered any for at least a couple of years. My rep went on to different things, so I am not being tempted by the catalogs she used to send me.

You ladies are kind but I followed the kit instructions and illustration exactly. Someone at CTMH designed the card.

Those look like really fun cards, azcrafty! Those Photoplay kits are actually really easy to play with, and are easily dressed up with dots or drops or other sparkly elements.
