Thanks for the link. I took away at least one idea that I want to try.
For those with an electronic cutter such as a Cameo or Explore, you can make your own stencils, especially if your budget is tight, or you can’t find exactly what you want.

I keep meaning to do this but then never get around to it. I want to make a stash of stencils all in one afternoon so they're ready to go. Would stencils work if they're made out of Cardstock? Silhouette also sells stencil material, don't they? I don't know if I want to get into anything expensive, I'd probably be happy with just stencils that I'd use a few times and then toss, which is why I'm thinking of using card stock.

Yes, cardstock would work for a while. Heavy vellum is another choice. I get my stencil plastic on Amazon. I've found some really good prices. I rarely buy stencils anymore.

Thanks for the link, grammadee! I actually just received a set of layering leaf stencils from Simon Says Stamp a couple of days ago. I had hoped to play with them this weekend, but life got in the way.
