Yes - two moves in less than one year.
I don't recommend it.
I'm finding packages -- unboxed, but still in store plastic bags WITH shipping label -- from April, 2004. I'm hanging my head in shame -- paper I totally NEEDED to have, untouched, un-used (but I did check the packing label so I did get everything I ordered -- does that count as touching?)!
That doesn't even address the "group buys" of Bazzil yardstick - YARDS of still packaged beautiful yardstick; group buys of Basic Grey -- original stuff - Sublime and Motifica -- still packaged.
And why do I have such a love affair with chipboard and brads?
Have you had the opportunity to explore your "scrap crap" weaknesses?

I’ve also moved twice this year, in eight months actually, and I know this is awaiting me once I get everything else settled and we start bringing all of the scrapbooking totes from storage. I’m probably going to be tempted to take some of them straight to Goodwill lol.

If you are finding items you loved and are happy to discover, then it’s a happy find!
If, however, there are unloved items, maybe now you have time to do some purging.
I tried to purge before I moved, but I moved more than I should have. I need to do some decluttering and reorganizing.
My “scrap crap” weakness: Tuesday Morning. I would not have as much as I do if it were not for that store. I justify my hoard because I don’t live within reasonable distance of any LSS and have to shop from my stash.

Ohhhh...finding unopened Basic Grey! I need a moment to collect myself...
That would seriously feel like Christmas to me. I had a time of discovered shipped, unopened packages. It gave me the time to pause and reflect. I’m a sucker for a sale. I’m working on curbing some of my shopping desires and reminding myself that there will always be more.

I did not buy enough basic grey. It was around when i was paused in scrapbooking, I loved it but i was a cautious buyer on a strict budget so i do not have a stash of that. But that paper was/is beautiful.

Loydene what is yardstick? You are the 2nd person I see mention it and I can't find a good image of it to know what it is exactly, except of course actual 36in yardsticks.

I have been using Bazzill card stock since it first showed up at the LSS where I worked, but I have never heard the term Bazzill yardstick. How is it different from their textured 12x12” card stock?

OOPS -- that is a pretty common "auto correct" for CARD STOCK ... yardstick -- it just auto corrected! I often do not put a space between card and stock ... I have more than a yard on un-opened Bazzill card stock packages!

I know that feeling! When I moved a few years ago I discovered I had so much Scenic Route and Basic Gray. I still use the Scenic Route but not the Basic Gray so much - I love the paper but I find it hard to scrap with the grungy look. I find bright colours so much easier.
I should use it for cards, though. Hmmm, thanks for reminding me of it!

Packing, moving, and unpacking is the worst. I’ve done it so many times and it’s exhausting. But going through your scrap stuff that you haven’t seen in a long time is like getting new supplies! Have fun!

Come on computers. don't you know us at all?! I agree with everyone. It sounds like this could be Christmas come early, although it could also carry a massive load of guilt with it. It's a "teachable moment" though. That feeling could save you money and bad feelings in the future. At least purging will be easier now after having stuff in quarantine so long, if that's what you want to do. If the paper makes your heart sing, great. If it makes you feel slightly ill, buh-bye.

I haven't moved since 1988. I go through my scrap stuff all of the time (probably because I haven't had to move). The closest I came to moving was putting all of my stuff down one flight of stairs when we put in wood floors. I had over 40 boxes of stuff that didn't include all of my furniture.

I try to keep an eye on my stash so I’ve never gotten a serendipity surprise. I’d love to find a forgotten bunch of Basic Grey.
When I read ‘yardstick’ I thought it was some sort of bulk buy where you got 36 sheets. Pretty funny—autocorrects strikes again. My iPad doesn’t autocorrect cardstock anymore. I guess I’ve used it enough for it to go through.

I moved twice in 2 years, so I can kind of relate. My favorite find was Making Memories alphabet rub-ons. I have so many, and I was so happy when I discovered them in a hidden spot!
Enjoy your goodies!!!
