Happy Sunday, Peas! I'm back with another Sunday Sketch for CARDtober. The first two sketches I shared were very CAS. Today's sketch is more of a CAL (clean and layered) opportunity. I hope you enjoy it! The twist for this challenge is to create a card with a food/beverage theme. It could be coffee, tea, cocoa, cake, cookies, whatever as long as it's a food or beverage. Here's the sketch: Here's my inspiration for you. I used the little cup stamp to created my own patterned paper for the background. This is a great way to use those small stamps in your stash. I hope you'll join in for this challenge. If you do, please be sure to post your creation in this thread!

This took me far longer to do than it should have. I just could not get the banners at the bottom of the shape to look right to me, so I adapted that. I used mostly scraps.

Not sure how close to the sketch any of these are, but there is the "suggestion" of a circle on a couple of them, and they all have a big mug of something warm and sweet! Thanks for the challenge, CoffeeCrafter: it gave me the push I needed to pull out this Elizabeth Crafts mug die set! Christmas Cheer by Gramma Dee, on Flickr
