Right? She just drops that bomb and then leaves us hanging! Thats no fair! My husband was clerking for a Supreme Court justice during the 2000 election debacle, and Toobin was trying to get a scoop on Bush v. Gore--both fairly intensely during the pending case and, then, for a few years afterwards. It was back in the days when we had a landline, so, often, I'd report to my husband, "hey, you have a message from Your New Best Friend," which was Toobin. I have to say, that experience gave me a tiny basement window into what it would be like to be at the center of a real news story or scandal (my husband was one of 40-ish clerks, so Toobin had a lot of potential sources to chase), and it's given me a lot of empathy for people who have to deal with such things. 🤣 I was thinking he dated a roommate or something! |

I’m embarrassed for him. I used to be married to a man who couldn’t keep his hand off his dick. It was like a nervous thing. ( full disclosure: yes he was a sex addict ). The same way I pick on my skin if I’m nervous, or some people twirl their hair. H e didn’t do it around other people. But in the privacy of our home, his hands were in constant contact with his prized little man. It drove me crazy. But there was so much wrong with my life it was not at the top of my list. So just saying, if he thought the vid was off, I can see this happening. And if he’s an otherwise decent guy, I feel bad for him. Well, then he had some control over it, hmmmm? Sex addict. Yup. |

Hmm. I really enjoy his commentary and his books are great. Too bad about the dick thing, but these sort of scandals don’t tend to stay in the public’s memory for long. He’s probably gonna get a nickname out of it though.  |
