Happy middle of the week, my tribe. Tonight will be rechauffe. I'm having my long infusion today. Tonight I'll be jigsaw puzzling and resting. I'm tired.
leannec , wishing you a big ole' negative on your swab. I'm sorry that you are feeling so crappy. The swab isn't a big deal. It isn't painful, just weird.
destined2bmom, I'm thinking of you and wishing you good fibroscan results that bring you answers, telling you that it's nothing serious and that whatever is happening is easily treated.
Enjoy your day, my lovely tribe.

Thanks for the support everyone on my other thread I'm just sick and tired of being sick and tired My COVID-19 test is in two hours ... it's a drive-thru test ... hopefully I don't have trouble finding the place ... I'm kind of a scatterbrain I wonder how long it will take for my results to come back? Dinner tonight is up in the air ... maybe the French onion soup I didn't have the other night

I'm praying for good results for both leannec and destined2bmom. My kids are both coming over for dinner so as my DS always accuses me of I'm going overboard. I have a pound of scallops and four fish fillets. Two steaks (Jeremy doesn't eat seafood) and I'll make some parmesan risotto and roasted asparagus and a loaf of everything bread. That would be plenty of food for my lovelies. Until then, I'm just working. I finally worked out the math on my blanket. So there's that...

Oh desertgirl... she's just beautiful! Her dress is fantastic! Really a lovely photo! And, on that note, we're having plain old hot dogs on the grill tnight.

She is just gorgeous. What a beautiful photo. I'm sort of sniffly, looking at it. I'm so happy for you desertgirl. Wishing your dd and her handsome husband a lifetime of joy and arrows and pies. leannec, my test was done a few days before my angioplasty and I got my results in less than 24 hours. It depends upon the lab, but some people get results w/in a few hours. I'm hoping that you get results, quickly. If it is COVID how long do you have to stay out of the classroom?

Happy Wednesday everyone! scrapmaven Wishing you a peaceful and relaxing infusion day @ Leannec hoping for negative results with a quick turn response time! Dinner here will be a hamburger potato casseole with Salad. I'm trying to get into the groove of planning and cooking for the week. I had a heart to heart with DH this morning. His motivation to get things accomplished has been nil and I'm fed up with him not getting anything done. Hopefully the gentle reminder will get him moving forward at least a little bit. Wishing everyone a great mid week day!

desertgirl - just gorgeous leannec - I hope the test goes smoothly and turns out to be negative. Today was day 2 of my art classes. We did a bit more watercolor work, some ink brush and some charcoal sketching. I am really enjoying the watercolors, and think I will buy myself some so I can continue playing around with it after we finish the class. Next week is acrylics. Dinner tonight is chilli con carne, with tortillas, guac and sour cream on the side. I put it in the slow cooker before heading out this morning, so it should be delicious and tender by now.

It was so magical and beautiful and intimate (26 total people) and ROMANTIC. The weather was stunningly perfect and the venue looked like a castle, especially at late evening when the outside lights went on and the candles on the more-than-6 feet-distanced tables were lit.
The speeches and toasts from each speaker were appropriate, funny, loving, and while I did give birth to the bride, I also raised her to be a Daddy's girl, and DH sobbed throughout his toast.
The best part was that all of the arrows had bathed and had shined themselves all up for the occasion. One even tried to give a toast, but alas, could not hold the champagne glass. Sigh...
We are having hamburgers with fresh green beans and sliced apples for supper.
Thanks for the thread. I felt every sister's support for her. The bride and groom are as kind on the inside as they are beautiful on the outside.

Ds and I are currently outside enjoying the lovely day.
Dd has her infusion today. We had to skip last week and that gave us the opportunity to change the day. I don't want to give an infusion on Thanksgiving or Christmas Eve. Her rash keeps improving!
I am either fixing vegetable pot pie or Ina Garten's cream mustard chicken.
Ended up fixing waffles last night.

desertgirl the wedding sounds perfect and that picture is stunning! I love the stone. I was fighting a headache all day yesterday so after work I made the decision to just go to bed. I was in the bed by 5:15 and got up at my usual time at 5am. I didn't get out of bed at all, didn't eat dinner, nothing. Feel good today. Maybe tonight I will do something with the pork chops, but I think we will be paint shopping so I will not hold my breath on that.

Hopefully the gentle reminder will get him moving forward at least a little bit. Do you think it might be a touch of Covid fatigue? I'm experiencing it. Jeremy is experiencing it. And I'm trying to treat myself with kindness about it. So what if my house isn't clean? That sort of thing. Just do what I need to do to get through the day.

Happy Wednesday! Although I read yesterday, I didn't have a chance to post as it was a crazy day between workmen and errands. Actually was in my nightgown at 7:30 pm and in bed at 10. Very uncharacteristic for me, a night owl. DH is downtown today and the workmen are rather scarce so far this morning so I am enjoying the quiet. They promise me more are on the way. Now that the baby quilt has been shipped off, I'm trying to catch up on small projects. I'm hemming some new napkins for DD and catching up on my No BS modules. Slow days are nice. leannec - Hoping for a negative test. We have some places here that advertise 15 min. results, but not sure how accurate those would be. destined2bmom - Sending you positive vibes as well! @sunnycamom - Sending feel better wishes to your DD! desertgirl - Your DD is beautiful and her dress is stunning. So glad the wedding was a success. Best wishes to them for a long, happy life full of adventure! Funny story to tell on DH. We have a Ring camera on the garage that covers the back terrace. He calls me a little after 11 to ask what I did with the possum in the driveway. My reaction was "What possum". He said he could see it at the 10:30 mark on the driveway, then at 11:00 it was gone. He was just positive that his pride and joy bird dog had cornered it and it had "played possum" to get rid of the dog. So I get off the phone and look at the video and burst out laughing. It was the dog's stuffed trout from Orvis. When I let him in, I made him go pick it up, hence it disappearing at the 11:00 mark! Not only is he deaf as a doorknob, his vision isn't the best either! Dinner tonight will be some Berkshire porterhouse pork chops. Either a rice or mac & cheese side, as well as a steamed veggie.

desertgirl, what a lovely picture. The wedding sounds fairytale like. leannec, drink plenty of fluids and rest up. This crud/virus if you have it, is nasty. jeremysgirl, my mouth is watering. Your meal sounds amazing! austnscrapaddict, I've been trying for years to light a fire under my dh. Everything is good enough or his eyes don't see what I see. Good luck! scrappert, glad you're feeling better today. We have leftover chicken vegetable rice soup and will add some venison sausage sandwiches.

scrapmaven take it easy lady and rest! leannec all hopes for a negative test for you. desertgirl sounds like it was a magical event. Congratulations 💗☺️✨ **GypsyGirl** that story is hilarious!!! 😂 I just had my first ever Zoom interview. That was definitely different. I liked that I could have some notes in front of my to keep in mind. I REALLY liked that from the waist down I was in PJs. 😂. But I think I prefer in person over all. Somethings missed via video cam. Now off to run a couple errands. I think dinner tonight is going to be Chinese takeout from Ghost Dragon. They posted on Facebook that the special this week is wagyu pot stickers. 🤪

desertgirl, what a stunning photo, her dress is gorgeous! scrapmaven, you'll be happy to know I finally got a puzzle for DH! I'm sitting outside JCPenney waiting for it to open. I've lost several earrings (just one of the set) because I must rip them off of my ear when I take a mask off. so hopefully they'll have some that I like and can replace them with. After the golf tournament that DH is playing in, we'll be having a barbecue in one of the guys backyards. We signed up for steak chicken and salmon. And of course I'm taking my famous pralines!

desertgirl, you must have been bursting with pride this weekend. How lovely!
Good thoughts for those who are being tested and feeling under the weather.
PolarGreen12, I hope you find the job that suits your many talents.
DH wants MORE of the sloppy joe dinner from last night. How often does someone request rechauffe? Yep, works for me. I have yoga this evening, so I'm having some cheese and applesauce.

Good afternoon. A bit cooler here today, which is nice compared to mid 90s, but not looking forward to cold winter days. Its a help mom day, so we will do take out; probably Carl's Jr. as it is in the path of returning home. I will probably have their guacamole bacon thick burger in a lettuce wrap. They are really good being flame cooked. desertgirl Your daughter's photo of her and her new hubby is beautiful. Such a lovely couple. Lots of prayers and positive thoughts going out to you all today.

I dunno what's for dinner yet. I might order from a restaurant and get curbside delivery. I cannot WAIT to actually SIT IN A RESTAURANT again !!!! Whenever i watch TV shows with restaurant scenes, I immediately think of how that used to be an enjoyable part of everyones' lives. LOL at Mr. Bean's facial expression This meme doesn't ACTUALLY apply to me, because: 1. No kiddies 2. DH doesn't actually ASK every day, only occasionally. Other times, I just mention if I'm cooking or not. If not, he's happy with a can of soup and some raw veggies, cheese, and crackers, desertgirl ....Sweet couple !! And...OMG....that DRESS !!! WOW! leannec ....Ugh, I hope you do NOT have Covid !!! destined2bmom .....Hope everything is okay! I wrote something to you the other day, but you may not have seen it.

Wow, lots going on! My vision sucks by the end of the day so it’s jarder to type on my little phone so I hope y’all are okay with me bouncing in and out of the tribe.
Tonight is grouper. And green beans. Not sure how I’m going to fix it yet though. I found some sugar free bbq sauce, so I may bake the grouper w/bbq. (If you haven’t tried fish with bbq sauce, you should!!)
