When all 3 of my kids were home it was a disaster. Then over COVID, when I had a different 3 in my house, it was a GIANT disaster. Now that everyone is gone and I simply cannot eat any more calories, it is a beautiful, organized dream. Sometimes I just open it because it makes me happy. That overpacked fridge of my nightmares is GONE!

It’s full. I wouldn’t call it organized, but it’s not a mess. Beverages on the top shelf, jarred stuff and eggs on the middle shelf, random stuff on the bottom shelf, and vegetables and fresh stuff in the drawers. Condiments, etc. on the door.
Every now and then it’s full enough that we end up with Jenga-like stacks of things that make me crazy, but it’s usually ok.

Not terribly well organized, and pretty full. We've been buying groceries much less often, and in much greater quantities since the end of February, so stuff just fits in where it can.

Organized, well stocked and a full of the makings any chef would love. We rarely cook ordinary in this house so the fridge, pantry and spice cabinets have to be organized and well stocked. Although we cook everyday, using menus and grocery lists for the week, can can stray and usually produce any meal we want not on the list using items we have in stock.

I am always surprised at my mom and stepdad's fridge. They have more beverages in there than food--milk, orange juice, pop. I don't know how they have enough food to make a full meal most of the time.
Our food is well packaged (no packages left open, leftovers in containers, etc) but there is so much in there that it is often not stacked well. I might look at getting some of those bins. And I am going to try to be better at sticking to a meal plan. I like to have options but we also waste more than we should. I did really well during the SIP when we weren't shopping as much and were home all of the time. I need to get back to that.

This summer when I was getting a CSA share it got a little chaotic, but it's generally pretty organized and stocked up.
I had found a blog where they gave their reasoning behind where to place what so I have been following that more or less.

I also feel our fridge is mostly full of condiments- so many different mustards and vinegars and hot sauces and Asian oils, curry paste, tomato paste, harissa paste, relish, different jams, fish sauce, oyster sauce, Worcester sauce , soy sauce — you get the picture!
Then I have our uncooked meats in a drawer, cold cuts and cheese in a drawer, veggies in a drawer, milk and eggs and yogurt and sour cream and hummus on shelf. That’s it lol!
Edited - fresh fruit goes on bowels on counter and fresh herbs go in jars of water on window sill near sink.

Mine was a hot mess when we had kids at home. Now that it's just the two of us, and DH doesn't really eat (feeding tube), it's super organized. I love it!
But, remember - no kids, I have a small frig for beverages, no milk jugs - so it's easy.

Our fridge is full, but stays pretty well organized. I like to cook so I keep lots of ingredients on hand plus we 'like' leftovers so I purposefully cook extra. At any given time, there's a good bit in there.
I'm also a proponent of the clean-it-out-and-wipe-it-down approach before I put new groceries in there. And since I often go to the grocery three-four times per week, it stays pretty darn clean!

I live alone and shop day to day so my huge fridge is practically empty most of the time ... it is filled with drinks and condiments so it's pretty organized ... different from when I had the whole family here

Mine is organized. Just like other items in the house, everything has its place. And everyone for the most part learned where it goes and puts it back (mostly) in the right place.
Once a week it’s cleaned out, the night before garbage day. So it’s pretty rare something gets old or smelly in there.

I have a French door fridge with the wide and shallow drawer, two produce drawers, and shelves. I keep my meats in the shallow drawer, both produce drawers are full of veggies because we eat a lot of them, then on the shelf there’s milk, half and half, and my iced coffee on one side and meal prepped food beside those (cut up veggies, things I premake for lunches, leftovers). Above that is deli meat, cheese, and bread (I just like it in the fridge is all), and a bin of apples and a bin of clementines. Top shelf is butter, cream cheese, and eggs. The doors are not full because we don’t use a ton of condiments, just salad dressing, mayo, ketchup, mustard, soy sauce, and kimchi. So fairly organized and consistent but definitely not Pinterest worthy.

IDK? I try. When I go shopping i throw out older things and rotate stock items. I have certain things in certain sections and I don't like when anything is moved from their areas, because then I waste time looking for stuff. I'm like that everywhere. Everything has a place. But we just got home from camping and my DH just threw everything in there and in the wrong place. I can't. He doesn't get how not being in control of little things like this gives me anxiety! My job is stressful and I fight anxiety resulting from that with many methods, organization being one of them. Plus exercise and shopping and crafting.

My fridge, freezer, food cupboard and closet shelf for surplus(I try to buy on sale only) is clean and orderly.
I eat a lot of the same things over and over and over(and I like it that way), so I don't need to have lots of variety.
I am a plain and picky eater. I don't have a lot of "condiments" or "sauce" type things in stock. No spices other than salt and pepper.
I am currently trying to limit my snacks. If I don't buy them, I can't eat them.
In general, with what I have on hand at the moment, I could eat breakfast, lunch and dinner for about two months. Three months if I strictly rationed portions.
I try to always have a box or two of pasta and a dozen cans of soup on hand, just in case.

My fridge is organized but not Home Edit worthy. I pick up groceries on Sunday for the week. So it’s packed and gets whittled down as the week goes on. I do also have a 2nd fridge in the garage for overflow and canned/bottled drinks. I also have a standing deep freeze. My standing deep freeze is majorly organized thanks to the pandemic and I even keep an inventory log for it. I put a lot of work into getting it stocked and organized. I’m proud of that bitch.

Mine is very organized. Everything has it’s place. Leftovers generally go towards the front on the center shelves. If I see them for more than a couple of days, they must go.

It's just 2 of us, and DH isn't much for leftovers so ours is usually pretty good. Never stuffed full, but not really empty either; fairly neat. Especially, with needing more breakfast & lunch stuff since DH is working from home, and cooking more meals at home. Half the fridge seems to be condiments/sauces/dressings. Everything has a place: Meat drawer, produce drawer, smaller drawer for cheeses and deli meats, spot for milk, eggs, butter.

I need my kitchen to be ultra organized and that includes the refrigerator and freezer. I use plastic shoeboxes and a couple of larger plastic boxes as organizers. I label them and use them to help me keep things orderly. I package pretty much everything in the sealer bags from my FoodSaver. I have a bin for rice/quinoa/wild rice, etc. Another for cooked soups, one for cooked/raw chicken, one for fish, and another for frozen fruits, and another for frozen vegetables, etc. It saves me so much time being able to go straight to the right bin.
The refrigerator is pretty much done the same way, with labeled bins to categorize things. Having the majority of items in shoeboxes also helps tremendously when it comes to cleaning the refrigerator. Nothing ever leaks onto the glass shelves and it is so much easier to just wash up the shoeboxes at the sink rather than wiping down the glass shelves. I also arrange the door bins by like items, salad dressings, sandwich fixings, etc.
Since I am single and get the entire refrigerator to myself, plus my large garage freezer that has a small convertible section that can act as a refrigerator or freezer, I have plenty of space to spread things out into category bins. Although I am not running the garage freezer right now since my annoying renter broke it and then shoved my dining room furniture and the boxes I was using to sort garage sale/things to move with me into a big unorganized mess and there isn't adequate passageway for a repairman.

My fridge is full, and there is no way I could have it almost empty. The top shelf is full to overflowing with condiments and jars that I use regularly: homemade vegetable and chicken stock paste, jars of ginger, garlic, ginger and garlic together, numerous curry pastes (red, yellow, green, massaman), sambal oelek, tandoori paste, anchovies, goat cheese, olives, mint jelly, Hoisin sauce, tamarind puree, ghee, shrimp paste, various chutneys, tomato paste, pestos, mustards, harissa etc etc etc...... And that's after I cleaned out the fridge last weekend.

Organized chaos. I clean it out every Sunday in preparation for Monday grocery shopping but it usually gets pretty crazy by Thursday with leftovers, especially now with both of us staying home every day and trying to eat lunch at home. We have gotten better about eating most of the produce before it goes bad now, we used to be terrible about it. This was my goal, too, and I stuck with it. Out of site, out of mind with those drawers — so I’m vigilant on using most of the produce within the first 2-3 days of grocery shopping.
