Hi everyone, I think I have only posted over here a handful of times but I was looking for some opinions on small printers for cameras to print pictures from my iPhone - like maybe 1-2 a week. Working on my 2 peas Christmas cards made me realize how much I miss paper crafting and scrapbooking and I was thinking of doing a small scale planner style scrapbook for the coming year and would like to add pictures to some of the pages. Thank you! I am off to read more threads here now.

Try Elizabeth Craft Designs. They have dies to cut pages and elements.

If you want something smaller then maybe something like the HP Sprocket?

I've had the Epson Picture Mate PM-400 for a couple of years and I LOVE it. I don't print pictures very often and I have NEVER had any issues with the heads clogging, etc.

I have a Epson PM 400 & a Sprocket & I scrap in a memory planner.
I love both printers and don’t regret either purchase I use my sprocket pretty much daily to do my daily photos. If I happen to fall behind I use my epson. I also use my Epson when I want a bigger photo for whatever reason
I like my sprocket because it’s instant I don’t have to wait to gather 4 days of pic to print them on 1 4x6. It already has adhesive on it. I can take it with me in my purse if I want to.
I like my Epsom PM 400 for the bright colors and that I can print right now and not wait an hour for Walgreens or CVS. Also the edges of my photo paper are square and the ones from 1 hour places never are. I have no idea what they do but the long edges of my 1hour photos are ever so slightly concave and it irrationally frustrates me. For the espin printer I wait until epson had a %50 off & free shipping sale - which is pretty often. The ink I track on Amazon & B&H photos and buy it whenever it drops to a certain price point. Same with the sprocket paper. I only buy that when it’s 32 cents a sheet or less then I stock up on it.
I mostly print 2 vertically oriented photos on 1 2x3 in my sprocket daily. Since this is my preferred method I’m changing my planner layout next year to be vertical days. Similar to the happy planner larger version. Some of my current planner pages are in the gallery. Once # are able to be searched again in IG there’s tons of ideas under memoryplanning
I find it way easier to ‘keep up’ the memory planner and I’ve done it solidly for 2 years now. Good luck with whatever you choose

I love my Epson PM 400. To print smaller than 4x6 you would need to use an app with it though. I use my laptop when I’m printing smaller photos, but I’m sure you could do it with your phone. I think the quality is really good with the Epson and I have had zero problems with it.

hop2 thank you for that detailed info - that was really helpful. I’ve never looked at the gallery here. I’m excited about getting back to scrapping

I love love love my Epson Picture Mate too. 4x6 and 5x7 paper that prints just like a pro lab does.

Among the truly pocket printers (2x3” sticker paper printer using zink technology) it sounds like the Canon Ivy is a good choice. The Polaroid Zip was not good to me. Layle by Mail on YT has some videos comparing the PM400 and the pocket printers, she has a few different ones. I can find the exact video for you if you like. I know I’ve shared it on another thread here. I think the PM400 gives you the most flexibility because you can print up to 5x7” or even 5x 8.5” tall and you can use a lot of different kinds of paper. If you were looking to print small photos on a normal ink jet printer Heidi Swapp has some special sticker paper and templates that she shares in her Stop the Blur memory planning videos (there are some free ones on her site). I’m not sure if the paper is being discontinued or redesigned but I picked up some on clearance a few weeks ago.

I’ll check out Heidi’s insta for that, too thanks!
