I can not believe it, he was only 7. He greeted me in the hall last night when I got home from work as normal, had some food then lay on the mat as he would. He gave two of the oddest sounding yowls and looked like he was having some kind of seizure. His eyes were glazed and he wouldn’t respond to me. By the time I got off the phone to the vet he’d gone. It was just a couple of minutes, I think it was a stroke, poor kitty. He was the most affectionate cat, loved everyone and would snuggle with the dog. It will be hard for my granddaughters, they had to let their dog go last month. Ruby. He hated having his photo taken.

I'm so sorry. It is far too young for a kitty heart attack. He looks so sweet ❤

I’m so sorry. It’s so sad to lose a loving pet, especially when they are so young.

He certainly was handsome. Those eyes say it all. He was happy to the end - I hope that is some comfort to you in your loss.

I'm so sorry. What a shock! My daughter had a very similar experience with one of her cats a few years ago. They lived across the street from us and she sent one of her daughters running over to get me and by the time I got across the street to her house, the dear little cat had died. He had also given out a loud howling sound just before, too. Some things we just cannot understand. Be comforted knowing you gave him a loving home and he was happy with you. Big hugs sent to you.
