My girlfriend took her DGD over the weekend to see Santa. She had to make an appointment in September to see this Santa at a popular mall here. Really crazy to me.

He was sitting in a winter wonderland designed around the movie Frozen, complete with soundtrack. He looked like he wanted to cut his ears off!

OMG. It's just too early. Of course, I was the mean parent who didn't take our kids until just a few days before Xmas. I felt like it made it more 'real' to them. We rarely took them to the mall, so our kids had no idea that Santa sat there day in and day out  |

Although I was actually surprised to be at our mall on the morning of Halloween and DIDN'T see any signs of them setting up for Santa. That could have changed in a few days though.

I bet it's for parents and Christmas card photos. My circle of friends are all having their annual professional photos taken getting ready for Christmas right now.
