I have an appt tomorrow for a hair cut and to cover some of my grey ( ugh, if I let it go, I will be completely grey by the time I am 45, Im 40) My hair is pretty long right now, Almost to the middle of my back. I have gotten it cut shorter some times, but I am really liking it long. Next summer its bound to piss me off and I will get it all cut off, but until then, I am enjoying it. but I think I am ready for a different look. My hair has been bang for at least 20 yrs, maybe more.
So.... if any peas took the plunge and went from no bangs to bangs, Got any pics you can share? My hair is really thick, So I am want to go with the longer, chunky looking bangs.

Yes, I did and love it. I love that it isn't so harsh looking and I'm told it makes me look younger, not sure if it's true, but I'll take what I can get. I will post pics when I get home later tonight.

I love my bangs. Bangs are cheaper than Botox.

I think I will like it too. And I figure if I dont, I can grow them out again. that will only take a little over a year. I'm on pinterest looking at pics. I am going to try and print a few to take with me, I dont want them cut too short as I dont want reminders from my childhood. lol

Here you go...no bangs and bangs. Keeping in mind I have no make up on and am the most un-photogenic person on the planet.

Nink you look great with and without a fringe! (sorry, I just can't say "bangs" ) bwife, I'm a little late to this thread and you've most like already been to the hairdresser - if so, I'd love to see what you decided to get done. I caught up with a friend last week that I hadn't seen in a couple of years. She had a soft fringe cut into her hair, it sort of fell to each side of her face rather than a blunt cut. It looked great. I hate my forehead so I've had a fringe my entire life. I'm jealous of those who don't have fringes.

AussieMeg I think from now on we should all refer to them as fringe instead of bangs.

I am done. I got fringe! I love it. I am not sure how to post a pic... someone want to explain it to me? then I can post a pic.

I did the total opposite as I went from a stacked bob style with bangs to hair just past my shoulders and no bangs for the 1st time ever. For me it's been a good change and I'm sure your new style will be a good change for you.
