My family and I were talking yesterday about voting. Who voted already, how people were voting, etc. So this is just me wondering, since we have such a large group of people here Why are you voting the way that you did/will be? For the record, I voted a few weeks ago. My 3 year old and I went and hand delivered my ballot. He got a sticker too! I requested a ballot to be sent to me so I could vote early. I am WFH now with a crazy kid. I couldn't imagine bringing him to stand in line for potentially hours to vote on election day. **Corrected the poll!

I have never had to wait more than a few minutes to vote so I don't worry about doing it on election day. If it was a "line out the door & down the street for half a mile" type place I would consider alternative methods.

Mailed it in two weeks ago. All 4 of us have dropped them off. First time for both my sons for president.

The poll doesn’t include my method - I voted IN PERSON early.
No ballot box or mailing in, but actually voting - filling in the ballot and having it scanned - exactly how it is done on Election Day.

I get an early ballot in the mail, and since I'm working from home right now, I delivered it to the polling place in person instead of mailing it. We only live a mile or so from the polling place; mailing it seemed like a waste of time (literally). I wouldn't have been able to do that without working from home- I work in a different city/county than where my polling place is, so in previous years I had to mail it.

You don’t have any choices for early voting.

Everyone in my family and extended family already voted. I dropped it off at box at city hall and verified it’s been received.

I think that a hefty portion of us early voted, so the poll may not mean much.

DH and I will vote in person tomorrow. Why? For no other reason than I'm old school and like to vote on the day. I've done early voting in the past, but never for a presidential race. DD voted early in person a couple of weeks ago.

Early, in person, about a week ago.
I live in a small town. Early voting was almost triple the turnout from the last election.

Put my ballot in a drop box and it has been verified received. I usually like to vote in person, but decided not to due to COVID.

I did mail-in weeks ago. Just wanted to say your three-year-old is sooo cute. I think that's a scrapbook-worthy pic!

I will be voting in-person tomorrow. I don't trust the GOP not to figure out a way to toss out absentee or mail-in ballots. (My state doesn't offer early voting, it's absentee or election day period).

I wish we had early in person voting but we live in a small town so they offer that. We'll be at the polling place tomorrow morning at 6:45am. We will probably get in fairly quickly... at least we hope to. For the primaries, we only waited like 5 mins.

I filled out my ballot and mailed it back within a few days of receiving it.
NY has a way to check the status of your mail ballot. I filled out the form to get my status and it said that no request for a ballot existed for me. Major panic. The form asks for first initial, last initial, street number, street name and city I think. My first try I used "Main street". My second try I just used "Main" and it found me. Thank goodness. My ballot has been received.

I voted a week or so ago. I dropped it into the ballot box, which is on camera, at the local City Hall. It is only a couple of long blocks from my house. I started voting mail in years and years ago. Can't remember why I started doing it that way but liked it so haven't changed.

My oldest daughter and I voted in person last Monday. Her first time voting! My husband went a few days later.
My neighborhood is across from a community center where they’re doing the early voting. It was swamped at 8:30 this morning when I came home from school drop-off.

No early voting in CT, but we were able to request absentee ballots because of Covid-19. Put mine in the dropbox outside town hall a few weeks ago. /

Local polling sites opened this weekend, so I went to the one down the street from me and dropped off my ballot.
ETA - I am a permanent mail-in voter. I haven't voted in-person in ages.
