My dh added a new shelf to my scrap area so that I could gain some space on my desk, which then lead to some purging and reorganizing as it inevitably does. I had a blast going through my pattern papers and finding some great stuff! Totally did not realize that I had so much Basic Grey 😂. But it got me thinking about how much I still love their papers, they had some great designs and color combos. They feel like a classic that didn't go out of style (at least for me) SEI, Cosmo Cricket was a similar classic. But its funny how the old Fancy Pants and Bo-Bunny seemed more dated even though they weren't as old. And even some of my old October Afternoon seems meh now (ducking my head now 😉) I'm just surprised at how much my tastes stay the same and how its changed.

Basic Grey is a keeper! Believe me, I kept a LOT of it , but it still finds its way onto my pages and cards regularly. I think that some BoBunny lines were really trendy at the time of release, and those are the ones that I shake my head at when I find them in my stash--what was I thinking? But they had some classic lines, too. Am still hoarding some gorgeous fall papers, and a Christmas line or two.

I love finding Basic Grey. That’s always the best. I still have a bunch of their paper. I just used Eerie on my Facebook live on Sunday. I keep hoping they’ll return.

I found a treasure trove of holiday/christmas Basic Grey a couple of years ago at a thrift store. There's also some Bo Bunny christmas lines that I've kept because like Grammadee said they're classic, but a lot of the other Bo Bunny is just not my style.
Now if anyone finds the Kelly Purkey Basic Grey Mon Ami let me know because I WANT IT!!

I love the Bo Bunny winter lines. Some of the other summery/beachy lines are more dated.

I am about out of BG. It is/was really great stuff. I'm an unapologetic BoBunny fan. I bought a huge package of clearance papers, stamps, and embellishments years ago (which means it was already old when I bought it!) - I still love to just look through it. I am ruthless about using stuff in my stash - I have no problem chopping up a brand new piece of pp for an accent piece on a card. That package of BoBuuny, though... I just love looking at it so much!

I love those fun discoveries. It's like finding lost favorites and going shopping at the same time.

I also reorganized a few weeks ago. I rediscovered some SEI and Basic Grey papers. I was inspired to create a couple of layouts. Back in the day I never knew what to do with the tags - this time around I used them all up on one layout! I love the weight and feel of both these manufacturer's papers.
