EDIT:Thank you 950Nancy for mentioning the Accucut machine! I remembered that I have an Accuquilt in the garage that I haven't used in years and was thinking about giving to my niece. So I pulled it out and tried it, and IT WORKS! I just had to add a piece of chipboard over the cardstock, and it cuts perfectly. I already cut the file folder, and now I'll try the alphabet. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU NOTE: Contour Dies are Compatible with: - Spellbinders Platinum
- Sizzix Big Shot Plus
- Sizzix Big Shot Pro
I have two dies that I purchased from Spellbinders when they had their warehouse sale that, unfortunately, do not fit on my Sizzix Big Shot. I had never purchased the steel rule dies before and did not read the description thoroughly on the website, so I was pretty surprised when I opened the box! This is one of them. The second is a full alphabet steel rule die that’s no longer on their website so I can’t link it but here's a photo I took next to my Big Shot so you can get an idea of the size.

My LSS has a big machine. Do you have one in your town?

I also bought something from the sale I can't use, I got some punches, and they did not state you needed to buy a "handle" to use them.

I didn’t even know there were punches that needed handles. Had to google the ones mentioned.

They did look odd in the photo, but I figured that I was just not seeing the item fully, when they arrived I could see there was nowhere on there to "punch down" and I did some googling and yes, you need the handle for 15.99.
