We are looking into buying this printer although apparently good printers are hard to come by right now!
Anyone have this printer and love/hate it?

We have one and love it ....but not for photos. It is horrible for those in my experience. But for general printing purposes it is brilliant. SO cost effective, easy to top up the ink. Won't print on card etc though- seems to spit that out. But for lot of regular printing I would highly recommend.

I have an old one, I really like it. The ink lasts for aaaaaages and I've not had a problem with printing on card or glossy photo paper, although the colour seems a little off when I am printing photos on paper, which is odd. It's very temperamental with vellum, which is super annoying. There is a specific photo Eco Tank now, so I suspect, it's much better than what I have.

I have an eco tank and it’s a good workhorse for printing stuff that is not pictures. IMO it sucks printing pictures even when those pictures are part of a school report, it still sucked.
Now there’s a photographer online who reviewed my exact model eco tank and said it was awesome. I tried every cleaning & every setting I could find and while it improved it still sucks.
Now mine is at least 6 years old ( maybe more ) so I’m sure there’s better ones out there. But ours sucked on pictures from the get go. At best it’s an adequate rough draft. But it’s definitely not photo printing quality.

I just returned an Epson EcoTank ET-3760 to Costco this weekend. It repeatedly had paper feed issues. It was pulling in the paper part way, wrinkling it and jamming. We could not get it to work consistently. They no longer had any in stock, so I'm back to researching printers. I read so many reviews and now I have to start over. The reviews were actually pretty good. Maybe we just got a dud. Make sure you buy it from some place that has a good open return policy.
Right now I'm looking into color laser printers for what I do. I'm trying to replace an old Canon Pixma.
For photos (since I don't print large photos, mainly 4 x 6 and the occasional 5 x 7. I use an Epson Picturemate PM-400 and a Canon Selphy CP-1300.

Thanks, everyone! I guess I should have said I’ve given up on printing photos at home so that isn’t an issue for me. I just need a really good printer that does not use multiple cartridges and burn through ink.
I definitely need a printer workhorse that will let me print through a lot of pages because there are three of us here with school needing to print a lot of pages.
I have an hp photosmart 7510 and the Bluetooth function has never worked well. It has 5 ink cartridges that are always run out and so many issues. I like how the ecotank doesn’t use cartridges but I’ve never used liquid ink like that before.

The inks are easy to refill and it works printing typed pages very well. But as I said even for cover pages with large areas of color or pictures in lab reports my kids were very unhappy with it from the start, but I have seen great reviews online and people getting better results than we did. Perhaps we got a dud. But I print work documents on it all the time and it’s great for that. It will leak if you move it at all, so once it’s in place do not touch it. If you have to move it to get to a paper jam or to get to the plug put plastic under it or you’ll have a mess.

I have an HP Mega tank that I love. We have one at school that obviously gets a lot of use and mine at home gets a lot of use too. It is great for color things I use in school - alphabet picture cards, color play dough mats, stuff like that. The pictures look great and it is super r easy to use with my iPad and phone. I got mine at Best Buy using the notification button as it was out of stock a lot. I love that the ink is so cost effective, and much more environmentally friendly .

I love my EcoTank printer. I’ve had it over a year and the ink lasts forever. I scan a lot of documents and it gives me no issues like my last printer did. I print digis with it too!
