I’m just popping in to say I’m so mad I could spit. (There’s a southern saying for you.) I will not look at my neighbors and friends in the same way ever again. Four years of that foul man and fucking Florida votes for him again. I hope when Biden wins he makes every damn republican in the state write an essay on the difference between socialism, fascism, and communism. And compare and contrast equality and racism. And make them all take a basic civics class. I swear my head is about to explode. Is be happy if they just made sure our politicians knew this information. Sorry about your state. They got the court, they keep the Senate. The traditional GOP made their deal with the Devil, but they still WANT to be the one driving the car. This is no ethical stance. Also, from CNN's Jim Acosta, at least, I think that's what DH said, and the reports of what is happening inside the White House, there is talk about NOT pushing for a Wisconsin recount. A point to remember is that recounts have to be paid for, by the campaign requesting the recount IN ADVANCE. And we all know the Trumps don't play that way. Maybe, this is a leak to get their donors to pony up to pay for it, but if they do skip it, and Wisconsin gets certified, this will get resolved fairly quickly. |

I don't want to be electorally associated with the part of the state that has its head in its ass. Blue cities in red states deserve to be represented, too. If Omaha and Portland ME can be represented, why can't Houston, Dallas, SA and Austin? |

I’m sure that I have mentioned that I am in the midst of Trump Town. Flags all over my cul de sac and neighborhood. I was too frightened to put out a Biden flag. But - I just may go out and honk my car horn, in the driveway, about 10 times when it’s announced that Biden won. I completely understand the desire, but please consider maybe just doing it in your head. I’d hate for your home/yard to be vandalized. My husband drove over to our house in WV to take down our Biden signs, fearing vandalism of the house even more now that Trump is tantruming all over Twitter. |

I have a good friend who lives near Houston and while I think her particular area is more conservative, it ticks her off every time she votes that her vote won't really count. The man cannot accept anything outside of his own reality in his mind. He's a sick, sick individual. Say what you will, but I do get it from his handlers perspective because I lived it back in the day. Being so committed toward serving the "office" allows an odd separation from the person holding the office. It can make you think the officeholder is "just playing the political game." But then, you come to an epiphany of sorts when you realize the human in the office actually damaging the very office you believed in. I know it doesn't make sense, but I do get it and thankful that I got out of it all when I did. |
