I am scared now. Biden’s chance is getting slim in AZ as they count rest of the votes...I might start praying. This is bullshit.

The Lincoln Project Tweet (sorry, I can't post the screenshot)
"Republicans, now is the time to defend American democracy.
History will remember what you do in this moment of crisis.
Speak up or stay silent. Both are a choice and a statement."
These are my people.

Just about ended my marriage over my husbands defense of this Bafoon. Husband is republican and I’m ok with that because I’m conservative too but trump isn’t republican. He’s a fascist. I can’t handle the idea that I’m married to someone who agrees with his ideals. And maybe I haven’t addressed it because I knew we would disagree. And c we did. And it was bad. But I told him I’m not sorry. Still pretty upset

Let’s never forget the republicans officials and voters who have enabled and aided in creating this colossal maniac. We know their names, since they all crawled out from under their rocks. That's the one good thing we've gotten from the last four years.

Quite fair to be praying for our country's safety going forward, for godly people leading our country and for freedom of religion to continue. I am with you for GA too. Absolutely if you feel led to do so. For me, I firmly believe in the power of our process and what we are seeing now (again to me) is that process actually working despite a leader attempting to circumvent it. TRUST!!!!

I just saw a post from my sister in law on FB: "Thankful that for now, I still live in a country where I am free to pray." Good grief. It took all my energy not to post that even if Biden wins, she will still be free to pray. And that Biden goes to church, went yesterday, and everyone around our president says he does not attend church. Why are people so brainwashed?? I do NOT get it.

I subjected myself to conservative talk radio on the way home - I will say that the small glimmer of hope is than even they had to repudiate the no one is in the room after his speech. They were more than a little forgiving of the fact of "late" votes being utter bullshit as not only did pa announced early on that they had 1.5 MILLION mail in votes to process on election day - they're not even beginning to process ballots that arrived later, but Michigan the other "we were winning bigly" flipped ON ELECTION NIGHT when they started processing mail in ballots. There is no question those ballots were cast on election day, but people want to play the tabulated vs voted game. And they are absolutely resigned to Binden being announced as winner.

Fear can make us irrational in our own heads.

for godly people leading our country Religiosity and morals are not positively linked. Many studies have been done over the years, particularly the past couple of decades with the rise of nones, and all concur that despite differences in the definition of morality, religious people do not behave more morally than atheists. It's time to put the extreme moral prejudice against atheists and nones to rest. Sorry to derail this but this sort of clinging to religion for leadership is actually doing the US more harm than good. Trump is the product of Christians seeing a sign of the Christian God in him no matter his behaviour or claims.

Maybe ask for good, moral people? I'm not hoping for specifically atheist leaders. Just good ones. That broadening of the perspective can have a really good impact on society in general, especially in a society that's so prejudiced against non-believers. That's all I'm suggesting.

I will say I was quite heartened by a Facebook post from an very religious friend citing a narrative regarding basically pointing out that one sin voting (choice) should not be based within belief while discounting other "sins" such as greed and pride. I found that a very refreshing point they made while still being committed to their tradition of choice.

Don't you know if Biden wins, Christmas is canceled? MAGA Twitter says it, so it must be true! It will also be *illegal* to wish someone Merry Christmas or to put up a tree. Churches will be closed and turned into ACLU offices, so no Christmas services, either. They're all crazy as bedbugs.

I'm grateful that in all the hubbub over the states with close races, it's almost being ignored that for all the amazing turnout in Texas and the excitement around that during early voting, it turns out we're still a deep red state full of racists and religious bigots. We accomplished almost none of what we set out to do in this election. Yee haw.

At the rate the votes are being counted and going, Biden might surpass Trump in Pennsylvania between 4 and 5AM (local time, I'm guessing?). Time for me to bow out and get some shut-eye! It's just way too late. If I miss major news while sleeping, so be it (oh, I'll be pissed). Crossing fingers for you all and hoping for some good news as the hours unfold.

I don’t even know what is going on here. How is Paxton not in jail? How did we not make any progress in even going purple?

Basically the gap is narrowing between Biden and Trump...but I am being told we will get PA and AZ will be ours too but probably with a narrow lead and not a lot(Biden might win by 2k votes in AZ). I am going to now stay positive and get some scotch🤣. Night sleepingbooty

If you tap next to his name, DrEricDing, at the top you can reads associated tweets and comments.
Aren't these threats of bodily harm? Isn't that illegal? He is out on bail, right? If one of us had said that we would be arrested before the night was over!! And likely never see the light of day.....
