The care and concern from the UK/European/Aussie peas is heartwarming to this American to wake up to. Thanks for keeping tabs on things for us through our night!

That's hilarious. One of my friends posted it on Facebook last night but I couldn't share it for some reason....so funny

I so admire these election officials who have worked so hard only to be disparaged by the leader of their own country who casts unfounded doubt of their honesty.

It’s interesting that Fox and Politico still have AZ going to Biden even though other sites switched back to undecided. Every time I check those sites I get excited thinking there was an update! I don’t recall NBC ever calling it for Trump.

Yes, absolutely! It's been on the front pages of the papers here in the Netherlands and elsewhere in Europe. And they're calling all his claims lies and rubbish?

Are other countries reporting the elections news and stating, as the BBC are, that Trump's claims of interference/rigging is baseless and without evidence? Yes most definitely. I posted a few pages back, that on ABC Radio straight after they broadcast trump's "speech", the host said that it was a long and rambling speech full of lies, that cannot be backed up, and then went on top say that these are "seriously dangerous times if the president continues to act this way."

This has just come up on BBC live No doubt Trump will want a recount! Hillary Clinton requested and received some recounts in 2016. They did not change the end result.

I don’t recall NBC ever calling it for Trump. Most of the networks and the NY Times have not given Arizona to Biden. There are too many votes outstanding and we don't know where they area all coming from. Biden's lead has diminished as the count has continued. The NY Times posted all the reasons but it boils down to a 'we just don't know enough yet' response. This was to me why GA was so important. Arizona could still go to Trump.

Recounts go much faster -- envelopes are already verified and the ballots just have to go through the machine again. It's not likely to change anything.

I want to apologize to any one I may have offended in the past by not being more outraged by Cheeto. I think I was afraid to take a stand knowing in my household, I’d be standing alone. I absolutely voted for Biden and I’ve prayed fervently that he will win. Last night I stood up to my husband who hasn’t read the first news article (despite my vetting and fact checking) who thinks since the stock market is up, that must mean trump did something good. I don’t know if I swayed him or earned any respect but my 16 yo who heard the fight is certainly more invested in politics now. I hate what trump has done to our country. And that the rich white men like him because he keeps them rich. What happened to simple decency towards people? What happened to giving a shit about poor neighborhoods and trying to identify why crime is up in those neighborhoods? Instead of saying “oh well, he’s Black so that’s why” when we should be saying “oh well he was brought up poor and under nourished. THATS the real issue”. I’m just venting. I’m sorry.

Action speaks louder than words julie5 give yourself a break that you did the the right action by your voting. I can't imagine how hard is for some of you in a split household. Dh and I are politically on the same side but we still have little arguments about which paths is best to get to that end goal, a goal that we do both agree on but we don't always agree on the best way to get there.

What a nice morning, so far.
It was a pleasure to wake up to so much support from our international peas and also to hear that Georgia flipped blue! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I also just pre-ordered my new iPhone pro 12 max in blue. 😀

This is so hard. And people can be so uninformed. Democracy dies in darkness. But also in the darkness of mis- and disinformation and general unconcern. Many, many, hugs of support.

Seeing as Trump has brought his whole family into working for the Whitehorse machine, it must be pretty scary for them to think they will have to go back to their previous lives. No wonder his sons have been so desperate on Twitter . Meanwhile Melania must be running into the bathroom so she can privately clap her hands and give thanks to the Lord!

Hate to be the voice of anything but optimism, but it's still not over. GA gets us to a tie if anything else goes to Trump. A tie is resolved by one vote per state in the House. So, Trump wins.
Also there are still military ballots to count in GA - about 1000 according to twitter.
Cautious optimism here. But cautious.

I slept approximately 4h. Got up and immediately had to start working from home. I somehow powered through (bless the coffee gods and goddesses) and am done with my work for the week just in time to watch the rest of this year's biggest telenovela unfold.
Can someone catch me up on Pennsylvania right now? Merci.

Just wanted to say that I am sure that wasn't an easy conversation, and hugs to you. I live in a similar household (seems as we get older we are getting further apart politically), luckily we are Canadian so it doesn't seem to get as heated during election time as it would if we were American.

Still only 95% of the vote counted, with many votes yet to come from the Philadelphia area which is blue. So, waiting and hoping! 🤞🏻😬

@erictrump - Where are Republicans! Have some backbone. Fight against this fraud. Our voters will never forget you if your sheep!
Why am I still surprised at the ignorance of the Trump kids.
It's "you're", Eric. As in "you are".
