EXACTLY what I have been wondering. I can totally see him refusing to leave, chaining himself to the Resolute Desk. From my research, once Biden is sworn in, the entire Secret Service reports to him, and they will remove the former president, forcibly if necessary. I almost hope he has to be refused forcibly. Wouldn’t be great to see him escorted out or even better one of those Dramatic movie scenes where he’s tossed out the front door. 😂

I think my family are losing patience with me - they can’t understand why I’m so invested in this. On the other hand, I can’t understand anyone NOT being invested in this! To me, it’s the ultimate ‘Good over evil’! I’m invested but freaked out and in avoidance mode. I’m not watching anything. I’m avoiding news, FB & IG. I’ll go look when y’all here tell me it’s ‘over’ Then I’ll be waiting for the courts to work I guess. 🤷♀️ This was what I was doing until last night. I really hope all of the positive speculation isn’t wrong and that I’m super disappointed.

What would happen if The Orange Menace truly does not concede and refuses to leave office and the White House? Will he be forcibly removed by the military? Will they throw his suits and orange make up all over the front lawn, like when a woman ejects her cheating, lying husband? So during the actual inauguration the residential quarters of the White House are being packed up. At 12 noon on January 20th Biden will be sworn in. As commander in chief he can request that the secret service and military forcibly remove Trump from the premises. Now, I don’t think that will happen because I highly suspect trump will not go to the inauguration and he will be searching for a one way ticket out of the US before he’s arrested by NY

And take him out then. He and his kids have shown that it is too dangerous to keep him in until January. Regardless of how the election turns out.

I’m surprised the U.K. hasn’t sunk a little, considering all of us jumping up and down! I have butterflies in my stomach and I feel sick. The only person that I have ever hated more than Trump is my ex! Go Biden Go!

Trump campaign says it will challenge a potential Biden victory From CNN's Betsy Klein
The Trump campaign released a statement Friday morning making clear they will contest the election, calling any projections of Joe Biden as the winner "false" and the race "far from final."
"This election is not over. The false projection of Joe Biden as the winner is based on results in four states that are far from final," Trump campaign general counsel Matt Morgan said in a statement.
Morgan's statement continued: “Georgia is headed for a recount, where we are confident we will find ballots improperly harvested, and where President Trump will ultimately prevail. There were many irregularities in Pennsylvania, including having election officials prevent our volunteer legal observers from having meaningful access to vote counting locations. We prevailed in court on our challenge, but were deprived of valuable time and denied the transparency we are entitled to under state law. In Nevada, there appear to be thousands of individuals who improperly cast mail ballots. Finally, the President is on course to win Arizona outright, despite the irresponsible and erroneous ‘calling’ of the state for Biden by Fox News and the Associated Press.”
"Biden is relying on these states for his phony claim on the White House, but once the election is final, President Trump will be re-elected," Morgan concluded.

I would love to see his stuff scattered all over the lawn of the WH. Your post just made my day. Of course, finding out today that Biden wins will make my day even more, but for now, my day is made. But yes, if he refuses to leave, the military will escort him out. At least I think that is what happens. I don't think it has ever happened before. In the history of our country.

Just about ended my marriage over my husbands defense of this Bafoon. Husband is republican and I’m ok with that because I’m conservative too but trump isn’t republican. He’s a fascist. I can’t handle the idea that I’m married to someone who agrees with his ideals. And maybe I haven’t addressed it because I knew we would disagree. And c we did. And it was bad. But I told him I’m not sorry. Still pretty upset I have to say I understand how you feel... the only reason I didn't write this post myself is because we've avoided talking about it so far in my house. Well, other than my DH saying, 'there goes life as we know it' on Wednesday after he looked at the electoral college information. I said, "I thought that happened when Obama won?" and he said, 'well, it was *started* then, but it will be finished now." Oh, and him repeating the nonsense talking points about people not being able to gather together for the holidays and not being allowed to worship in church. My answer- that is SO not true, but if so, that's due to the PANDEMIC, not due to who's President!! But we have't talked about it at all since.

She has been incredible and deserves an enormous amount of credit not only for Georgia but for the entire election results. I sincerely hope to see her in a Biden administration and in office herself in the future

When Biden moves in he will probably have to redecorate... I keep thinking Trump's decor taste is a lot like Biff Tannen's in Back to the Future 2

On a different note, the political colours in the US are such a mindfuck for quite a few foreigners. In many countries, red is associated with the left and blue with the right, particularly the conservative right. My brain is still seeing the US map at times as dominated by the Communist Party. It’s the same in Canada - red is Liberal and blue is Conservative. Always messes me up when I try to follow the map.

The photo appears to be taken in a Black church where Abrams is being prayed over. She is holding the hand of her daughter and touching the shoulder of her son. I’m assuming the photo was taken during her run for governor.

I don’t know about others, but I want some form of closure today even if some states have not been called. Just to know Biden is the president-elect by the end of the day. Any other state he wins after that is gravy. I haven’t been able to resume normal life since Tuesday!

Stacey Abrams lost the governorship but won the presidency. Oh, no! I missed that with all that was going on. What a loss. Only because I think there might be some confusion about timing. Stacey Abrams ran for Governor and lost in 2018, not this year. She has taken the last 2 years to advocate for and empower disenfranchised voters in GA. And it looks like it just paid off. BIGLY.

The Secret Service WILL remove him at the orders of the new President if it comes to that. But let's be honest, this dude has no balls for the most part. Of course it won't come to that. I'll be shocked if he goes to the inauguration.

McCain’s concession speech is trending on FB. Where are these republicans? I miss honor and leadership. He talks about building bridges and coming together because we are all Americans and that is the affiliation that matters the most. Where are they? We need more men like this. More McCains and yes, Bushes. I might not agree with 100% of their policies, but i knew, for sure, their decisions were made on what thry thought was best for our country and not for just them and their families. They respected institutions. I completely agree. After the shitshow we’ve been put through for the last four years, I have a lot more respect for GHWB and GWB. I didn’t agree with either of them politically, but they were both decent people.

More secret service have been sent to Joe’s house and the airspace above his house is now a no-fly zone. As is the convention center where he’s supposed to speak later today. I’m not going to be surprised if there is an assassination attempt. Especially give Trumps rhetoric. It’s going to be dangerous for Biden/Harris and for election officials Every president elected in a year ending in 0 since Lincoln has had an assassination attempt made. Obviously, not all where successful and I imagine the Secret Service will be extra heavy and extra vigilant for Biden should he win. Everyone knows what kind of crazy Trump supporters are.
