I went back to my app and now can't find the story I quoted. Perhaps I took what Blunt said wrong. I thought he said that he thought Trump should pursue recounts and lawsuits. But again, I could be wrong. If he is not supporting Trump right now, that will redeem him in my mind. LOL
Has anyone seen anything from Missouri's other senator, Josh Hawley? I have not. But I think they all need to come out and denounce Trump and his crazy shit right now. He truly is damaging our country, and I wish more of his supporters could see that. Not holding my breath waiting, though.

Question: With the "Biden is going to speak" thing being delayed, does anyone think the Trump/Biden campaigns have been in communication and each know concession is inevitable but the delay is convincing the POTUS to do it?? I have a spidey sense that may be the case. Did you bang your head or something?  The Trump Camp is swearing they will fight. LOL. Maybe! It's been one hell of a week all the way around even beyond the election. LOL. I'm just drawing on past experience with irrational candidates losing their shit while on campaign staff. Lower level of course, but some of the playbook seems eerily familiar to me. |

Blunt did the right thing today, even/especially because McConnell wouldn’t. Thanks Elaine. I'm glad to know Blunt did the right thing. I live deep in Trump country, so perhaps I am jaded. Does that number include those votes that have been segregated in case the SC agrees with Trump? I don’t know. But regardless, there are only 3,000 to 4,000 segregated ballots so even if every single one of them is for Trump, they will hardly make a dent. |
