There is no doubt that the black community and black women in particular are the reason Biden is president. I hope we ( as white women) continue to remember this and support them in taking positions of power. I hope we remember to listen to them and learn from them. I hope we can follow their lead and support them instead of expecting their support. Quite frankly, white women continue to disappoint me (said as a white woman). |

So incredibly happy but the rest of my family is about to have a meltdown! lol! They are saying it’s not over, the Dems cheated...blah blah blah! 🙄 Then of course the fear mongering has started....gas prices $5 a gallon, socialism, oil and gas industry going to crap or away for good, no jobs, higher taxes. I could go on but I just scroll on by. They have made me so incredibly exhausted I just can’t with them anymore.

That is still very much at risk with the current make-up of the Suoreme Court. There is a 6-3 conservative majority after the appointment of ACB and many of the existing conservative justices have already illustrated little respect for precedent and our more than happy to destroy the integrity of the Court. The only conservative that remains concerned with the integrity of the court is Chief Justice Roberts. |

There is a cocktail bar pie place here and I really want their pecan pie but they do not open until 5PM and I will have had too much champagne to go back out.
I am just so relieved, y’all. And genuinely thrilled to have a woman as VP. And incredibly thankful to all the people who worked so hard for this, particularly black people, and latinx and native people. Particularly black women.
