What part of the country are you in, if you don't mind my asking? Chicagoland. There’s a celebration now going on in a nearby park. Families are walking there with kids and babies. Retirees. Groups of teens.We’re talking overwhelmingly Blue. I’ve never seen a Trump sign displayed - either election. This makes me happy! I was born and lived in Chicago for my first 40 years! It is still home and I am glad to read what you posted! We grew up near Fullerton and Western. When I moved 20 years ago I lived in DesPlaines. My brother still lives in ParkRidge. Go Blue! 🙂 |

Now the election is finally done, I am excieted to see who he uses for his Cabinet. Fingers crossed Mayor Pete is there.

Our small town(like MANY small towns) were huge Trump supporters so the are large obnoxious signs everywhere. I noticed yesterday that a neighbor just down the road(don't know them) had a Trump sign in their yard. When I went by yesterday, it was gone. I just smiled as I drove by.  The sad part, from what I read, is so many Trump supporters have heeded social media advice (fear mongering?) to remove Trump signs because they’ll be targeted by the lawless rabble. That doesn’t bode well... |

What’s next? I am glad Biden won. I am glad to have first female VP. But this is not over. They now have the shot Trump left to clean up. Including a Covid infested White House... Celebrate today but get back to work tomorrow. Don’t take any of this for granted. We need to still mobilize people to vote. We have to work to get a senate majority. Exactly. We have a shit ton of work to do. |

The article you posted does a good job of explaining why Black men vote Republican. Outside of that I don’t have any thoughts except to speculate that these men don’t have Black wives or partners. 91% of Black women voted for Biden according to early exit polls. |

I was so happy,excited and proud when I received (earned) my US citizenship. Then the evil cheetoh took office. I thought my God what have I done!?! Do I really want to be a citizen,have this evil moron represent me?For four years I was embarrassed and ashamed even. But now? Now I am happy and excited and PROUD once again! Today I celebrate not just a win for my candidate but a triumph of good over evil. Proud of PA and proud to be an American once again.😊

I gotta admit, while I am ecstatic and thrilled beyond belief right now, I am a bit nervous/worried about all the gatherings in the streets. I think I read some where back in the early days of the pandemic that cases of the Spanish Flu in 1918 went crazy after celebrations in the streets when WWI ended. It does seem like everyone is wearing masks, but still.
