You finish a layout, but then you remember you had an element you really wanted to use but you completely forgot about! I finished this layout 2 days ago, but this morning, I remembered I had bought this postcard to use for this exact layout! UGH!! I am not going to redo it, but I thought I'd just share with some folks who understand the struggle. Jordan pond house by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr Jordan pond house by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr

The layout is so cute! Maybe add a pull-out for the postcard?

The layout is very cute, and the postcard is precious. I would definitely add a layout or an insert to include the post card somehow. I went on a big trip awhile ago, and am constantly going through my ephemera to make sure I include everything...some of it has had to be included creatively after the fact!

I love all the layers and yes! I do that all the time. I even have one 12x12 envelope of papers and embellishments for specific photos. Do I remember to look there first? NO.

I was thinking of getting some sort of pocket to put on the page protector. I have another layout where I couldn't choose which photo to use, so it would be helpful for that one, too.

I would be getting that post card on there somewhere. To me memorabilia is more important to a layout than paper and stickers.

Oh, I have done that, too. I get so annoyed with myself! Now I tuck embellishments or ephemera in the envelope with my photos.
I have been using 6x8 pocket pages in my 12x12 albums. I have also used my Fuse tool to create smaller pockets, just large enough to get 2 holes punched in for the binder. I really like the look in my albums. It's easy to punch new holes in the 6x8 pockets to fit the 12x12.

YES! I do that all the time. Worse, I have actually forgotten a photo and designed a page with only 2 out of the 3 focal pictures. I'm like you: "good enough".
(Plus, I really love your layout and wouldn't mess with it now!!!)

Make it either a page protector with 2 holes, or one that you can fuse to the layout's page protector that will swing out. Cute page!

Been there, done that. How about making a layout about what you forgot to include for the original layout? I’ve often thought I should do that, but never got around to actually making the layout. However, that card is fabulous and is worthy of its own layout, in my opinion. I love the original & wouldn’t mess with perfection.

You’re layout is so cute. It’s great the way it is. But yes, I think many of us have been down that road. In fact last weekI just found those cactus stickers I was going to use on a couple of layouts I did for my trip to Arizona last year They really aren’t good for much of anything now.

I have done that too and felt so frustrated with myself for forgetting. But if the item I wanted to use can’t easily be added I just have to let it go. The memory is documented and done.

Very cute layout!
I hear you too - I forget all the time - even if I am trying to keep everything together so I don't forget! I like the suggestions here though - everyone is so creative!!!

I made a layout for an activity and forgot to mention that the reason for it was someone's birthday. Had to add on a second page so I could throw some focus onto the birthday girl

Yep, I hate that. I am always saving stuff for certain layouts and the forget that I have them. I use D ring albums and often have multiple sized pages in my albums so I would just find a smaller page protector and slot it in beside, maybe do some extra journaling or another photo on the back if it is not double sided.
