I'm finishing up a Kathy Orta Foto Folio and starting to plan my 2014 December Daily.
My scrapbook room re-org is about 80% complete so I'd love to have that done by Monday morning as well. I've been working on it for most of the year.
What is everyone else up to as the holidays quickly approach?

I want to...my room is a little disorganized and that's throwing off my mojo. I am going to a camera Expo thing for part of the day on Saturday and Sunday and taking a few photography classes...super excited about those.

I would love to take some photography classes. I think that I would benefit by just reading the manual for my camera as a first step. Enjoy the Expo!

Probably no actual scrapping. But, I have to unpack from some recent retreats and a crop. So unpack and re-organize...

Yeah, I gotta catch up with PL. I'm (now) 7 weeks behind. My Gossamer Blue kit is waiting for me at the PO and I have nowhere to put it in my little caddy for PL stuff. Must catch up and keep up. This is what happens when you have no motivation to craft and game consistently instead.

I spent some time at a crop tonight, still working on a year-long album for my daughter. Tomorrow she's in a large parade in her pageant gown, so I'll be getting lots of good pics I hope!

I'm going away for a scrapping weekend next weekend, so I have to get some pages planned this week. Hopefully I'll get to work on that tomorrow. AerynK, 7 weeks is nothing, lol. I'm a full year behind!!! Happy scrappin' everyone!

I got the Life Story PL kit recently and just read through the whole thing tonight. I realized before I start filling it in, I'll need to take notes. So I'll be starting with sticky notes this weekend to start answering all the questions. So .... kinda' scrapping!

Not this weekend, unfortunately. I'm recovering from a nasty respiratory virus and need to catch up on projects at work and home. I'm also hosting the cast party for DD's high school play tomorrow night. All of my "me" time got used up laying in bed sick for a week. On a positive note, I was pretty well caught up before getting sidetracked. I'll get back to it next week...

Hoping to! Was supposed to work this weekend but my deadline got pushed so the first thing that comes to mind is "yay! More scrappy time for me!" I have 4 more pages to finish DS's one year album. I'm ready to be done so I can start into our family albums.

I am heading over to my friend's house today to scrap. It is deer hunting opener today and DH and DS [HASH]1 are hunting this weekend and her husband and son are hunting as well. Deer opener and fishing opener are two of my favorite scrapping time!

The only things scrapbooking related I've done so far is upload a ton of photos from my iphone to have printed and I started cleaning off my scrap table last night.

I will be working on finishing my Christmas cards. I'm about a third of the way through 50 cards. I was supposed to keep them simple this year but once again that didn't happen. Every card has a diecut poinsetta (glittered), an embossed and distressed background and then a heat embossed title. It's going to be a pretty card, but what the heck was I thinking?

I'm helping a friend with a bridal shower banner project. Cricut has been busy every evening cutting letters to test fonts. Found the perfect one (see below) and this weekend I'll finish up the cutting. I'm also hoping to for some time to work on a few vacation pages, too. Oh and Christmas cards, I have to make my Christmas cards. The perfect font is Elsie Swash ==> Elsie Swash FontIt's elegant, fun, and fat! For a banner you gotta have a fat font! Edited to fix the link.

Worked a bit on my 30 Days of Gratitude 8x8 album. I'm a couple of days behind, but I'm hoping for a few successful deer hunting pics this weekend to include. I'm thankful for my two deer hunters who help keep the freezer filled with venison! Have a page partially done but will likely get back to it later on today.

I'm getting over being sick too and I just don't have the energy or motivation...I am scrapping with friends tomorrow for 2 hours. We do a layout club once a month - so basically I can just show up with trimmer and adhesive and get a few pages done.

I scrapped for a few hours with some ladies I haven't gotten together with for awhile. I am finishing up a 5 year project of rescrapping all of my sons' baby photos. I am down to about 10 layouts now, and they are kind of slow going. I have used most of my nice baby paper, and still have a ton of supplies left but my motivation has been dragging with this project for awhile. I did about 6 layouts this afternoon, and putting them in the albums I am so happy to look through all those completed baby albums and see their childhoods all chronicled. I could have done much better with journalling, but maybe I'll go back someday and add some thoughts. It's not like there isn't information there, but most pages just have a date. Kind of like, after 10 layouts of my son playing with his toys, using toy paper and stickers and a title that says 'Me and my toys' I think it is kind of self explanatory.
I would love to finish that project by the end of the year. We'll see.

Went to a crop last night and today. Problem is that when I get home I am so motivated, but I don't have anywhere to do any scrapping at the moment Once dd and dgs move out, I'll have my room back.

I've been working on it for most of the year. What is everyone else up to as the holidays quickly approach? What do you think of the folio? I've been interested in making one for a while now and I'm trying to decide if I should buy her tutorials or just go with a free tutorial on youtube. What kind of cardstock are you using? Is it a heavier weight one? I worked on a mini album for a little while yesterday. I tried something new with this one. In the past I've always completed one page at a time. This time I worked on matting all the pictures and getting them on the background paper first. Then I cut all the titles. Now I'm working on journaling and when that's done I'll embellish the pages. It's going much faster this way.

I was at a scrapbook retreat Thursday night through noon today. I was really energized and loved it. But, as I posted on the vent thread, my dear friend NEVER.SHUT.UP. For 3 solid days she talked. I never finished a sentence or a thought. She doesn't even notice when no one else talks more than an "uh-huh".

Yup. I went to a rubber stamp convention yesterday and spent today working on an album I'm doing for a friend. I'm scrapping her anniversary pictures as my gift.

I packed for my 4 day retreat (I leave Thursday!!) and I reaquainted myself with Cricut Craft Room. When you don't own a Silhouette, you must make do! I used to cut titles on my Cricut all the time, but switched to Thickers/stickers. It's been well over a year since I have used my Cricut for scrapbooking!! I will share my machine with my friends at the retreat. I spent some time watching tutorials and making titles to cut later.

I've been at a crop since Friday morning. I've made Christmas cards, every day cards and some layouts of my now 24 year old dd when she was a newborn! It's been wonderful getting away and seeing my friends. I missed this last year when I was going through chemo.
