Thanks, lynnek. Working on my sketch for next week, but hope to get to this one, soon. Lots of pages with pp strips and blocking have been popping up on my Pinterest lately, so this might be just old enough to be NEW again! |

This is the one November sketch I have yet to do. Thanks for the inspiration, 2lynnek. Your page has a fun vibe. Great photos, and those birdies are delightful! I love the stitched borders, but there is no way I would be brave enough to do THAT! Great to see you scrapping again, ComplicatedLady . This sketch is perfect for your TN. Mmmm... I love the food pic's, and I love how you used the paper and embellishments to give the impression of open space. Speaking of "nailing it", you are nailing the TN format! |

lynnek I love your LO. The colours are lovely and fresh, and the birds and birdhouse are sooooooo cute! The photos are lovely too. ComplicatedLady how perfect is this sketch for your TN?! There's love in the gallery for you. Here is my LO. When I was at my mum's house the weekend before last, I scanned a whole lot of really old photos. This sketch was perfect for these little photos of my great aunt from 1928.

Here is my take on the challenge. I had a left page all planned out and a few extra photos. Decided to use this sketch for the right page. And then redid the whole first page to tie in with it!  Baking Spirits Bright by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Not as elaborate or as important as your pages, lynnek and AussieMeg , but it was fun to put together.

Oh my gosh, AussieMeg! That is the neatest treasure to have those photos scanned! And I love the pink with the vintage photos.
